SIG SAUER TANGO-MSR 1-6X24MM SCOPE - ILLUMINATED BDC6 RETICLE The Sig Sauer TANGO-MSR LPVO scope is high-quality, low power variable optic, second focal plane (SFP) scope with Illuminated BDC6 reticle. It is designed for precision shooting, tactical engagements, and long-range hunting on MSR platforms. With 1-6x magnification and 24mm objective lens, it offers confident target acquisition. HDX optics with LD glass and HT glass provide exceptional optical clarity and light transmission. The scope is IPX-7 rated, allowing it to be immersed in up to 1 meter of water. MOTAC technology ensures optimal battery life by activating illumination when motion is detected. LockDown Zero System allows for a resettable zero, zero-stop, and auto-lock at zero. I bought it as a amazon return. Had a couple of light scope ring marks. Was like 240.00, so a huge discount. What's not to like? I can't complain. I was formerly issued some really nice stuff -NF, etc... Is this that good? No, its not. Is it quite good? Yes. There's some distortion at 1X but the scopes very clear and bright. Comes with nice mount, rings, pop up lens covers, uses a common battery, illuminated reticle, ballistic drop reticles, horseshoe qcb ring, simple to use, LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY. Is it better than a vortex strike eagle? I think vortex is clearer. I bought this cause it was cheap and I think there's a high probability that whatever slight deficiencies there may be between similar products can be overcome with familiarization. People get Very picky but it's so hard to compare this stuff for average users. Who has all the similar items in one spot to compare? Never seen it. So, if correctly set up and understood with a decent marksman, this thing will allow you to clarify and shoot a 10 inch target out to at least 500 yards without much problem. And that's a really long ways in many ways. If you get it, you'll be happy I think. If there's a problem, I'll update. BTW. These types of scopes are a real defensive leveler - many years ago there wasn't much like this. This is actually replacing a 40 plus year old weaver 1.5-4.5x. Weaver has better glass but this is a more usable scope. Very very good esp for the $. Not a snob scope. But snobs suck big time - too worried about their elite gear to do much but beach about "inferior". UPDATE: several months later, still good to go. Holds a zero nicely. Finally noticing how big this scope is but I don't see variable power AR scopes getting getting too much smaller and lighter. I'm still very satisfied. If you're on the fence - wait for a deal or return and go for it. ... show more

Great scope for the money from a reputable brand. I used this rifle on a Tippmann M4-22 as well as a PSA 300 Blackout pistol with 8.5" barrel. The site is solid and holds zero on both rifles after 100s of rounds. The glass was clear and easy to adjust and focus the eyepiece and the semi-horseshoe reticle lit up nicely. There are 11 brightness settings which I feel is a bit much and really can't see much illumination of the reticle in daylight until you are on at least setting 6 or 7. The BCD reticle hash marks are geared for flat shooting rifles such as 5.56nato or .308, so the drop compensation is more of a guess and doesn't match up as well with the hash marks on the reticle for a .22, 300 blackout and other slower rounds. The construction feels bomb-proof and high-end. The mount is solid. The mounting bolts are high-grade steel and use a 13mm socket/spanner. Drawback for me is the weight. On scale I got 1lb 9.7oz. with the flip dust caps on. If you're trying to keep the overall weight of your weapon lower, this may not be the scope for you. For some this may not be an issue so just weigh your pros and cons. I've enjoyed shooting it and arguably it is the best value 1-6x illuminated LPVO for the money out there right now. ... show more

The sig sauer tango MSR 1-6 sfp is a great budget friendly alternative. The build quality seems very solid and nothing on it feels finicky or cheaply made/put together. The glass quality is good enough with a little warping towards the edge of the glass but it is barely noticeable. Reticle is easy to pick up and make adjustments for long range shots. The brightness level goes up to 11 gradually unlike some other optics where 5 is not bright enough then 6 is too bright. I really like this lpvo. Has a lot of great features and already comes with a cantilever mount. The only gripe about it is the eye box at 6x is a bit small. You really have to find that perfect spot and any small adjustments from it, you will see scope shadow. Another gripe which is more like a personal preference, I wish the mount was a 1.7 or 1.9 mount. For me, I feel the 1.5 mount is too low and I sometimes break the seal of my ear muffs while shooting which is not fun. Other than that, great scope for the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone new to lpvo. ... show more

Obviously most people that have experience with higher end optics probably wouldnt give this a 5 star review, its a budget lpvo after all. I think its really good for the price, its a bit heavy sure, but it does its job it holds zero well. The throw lever feels good and sturdy. And the optic in it looks fantastic. It does have some trouble with blur once you get to 6x but other than that its solid its got good eye relief. And it feels like your eyes are really drawn to the center of the optic when you look through it ... show more

First impression, wow, it’s a lot bigger than expected. However, I love it and the build quality is great. It seems very durable and it looks good on my armaglock 14.5 in. rifle. I’m just a rookie in the AR game and was debating whether I should go with a red dot + magnifier or LPVO + red dot offset for a do it all rifle. I decided I’ll buy this first and see how I like it since the price seems pretty reasonable. Worst case, I’ll save this scope for another build or something.
