What the photo can't convey is the soft texture of this spread. I look at this as a coverlet, bedspread or warm weather blanket. If you're looking for a fluffy comforter look, this isn't for you. Okay, I read the good reviews, but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite this nice or this velvety soft! I purchased the king size gold color and it’s a rich, warm gold, incredibly soft, and a little bigger than my last comforter. Since I have a very thick mattress on top of a fairly thick platform, it’s difficult to find king quilts that are long enough to reach the bottom of both. This one is *almost* long enough - an improvement from most that are never long enough. I just leave it shorter on the side no one sees and it’s still an improvement from most. This one is a good bit softer than a similar one I saw at Target, however Target doesn’t sell the king size shams to match the king size quilt. I’m glad they don’t because that led me to this one and it’s PERFECT! ... show more

This is quite literally the best bedspread I have ever owned. It’s so soft and keeps me so warm at night but not to the point where I’m waking up sweating or can’t sleep because I’m too hot. I’ve washed it once so far and it held up well.

We live in AZ. It's VERY hot most of the year. This is an awesome light weight washable comforter. We have a few VERY expensive comforters from Anthropology & ZGallerie and although it's hard to compare the beauty and quality to those, there is ZERO guilt washing this and letting our white dog and cat on the bed! Ended up buying a 2nd one for the price. We have the light blue and light pink (to hide the white animal hair in between washes) and they hold up great! We wash AND dry one weekly and just rotate and for the frequent washing/drying they do not appear to be fading. Will have no problem buying again for my daughter's room. ... show more

I will update later with a pic, But i am obssessed with this comforter, our bedroom is western themed and it looks amazing. Me and my husband are hot sleepers and this is the perfect comforter, its is lightweight yet heavy duty, we absolutly love it! Highly reccomend!!
