These are very nice ceramic plates for serving various foods. I have used them so far to serve Caprese and Bruschetta. I wish I made sushi, because these would be perfect for serving sushi rolls. These are very nice and high quality serving dishes. I wish that the design patterns were a little nicer, but that is a subjective opinion. Many people will love the pattern. I like everything about them. The designs and texture are all super cool and they're totally dishwasher and microwave safe. I do recommend that you pay attention to the size, they are on the smaller side when compared to most "serving" plates. The Selamica Ceramic Rectangular Serving Platters make for a fancy dinner party night at our house! The colors and patterns are lively and bright. These work well either as serving dishes - for cheese, crackers, olives, pickles, etc.- or as personal dinner plates when we have foods with dipping sauces in small ramekins- like sushi or dumplings. The platters were packaged very well- tightly secured between multiple layers of closed cell foam within a well-fitted cardboard box. I had no issues with damage. I've used these plates a few times since arriving. They are gorgeous! And make great serving plates for small meals as they aren't overly big. They wash in the dishwasher very well! They are extremely durable and well made. The colors are vibrant and the design is beautiful! I love them!

I have been using this set of four beautiful dishes from the day they arrived. They are an excellent weight, the designs are clean and clear, the colors vibrant. I've served a luncheon lobster salad on them. Trays of fruits, cheese, and crackers for an early evening get together. Filled them with breakfast pastries when we had overnight guests. Selamica dishes are known for value as well as attention detail and elegant style. These are either small platters or large plates dependent upon how you choose to use them. The graphics are sharp and really quite beautiful and fit a broad range of decor motifs. I chose the blue set of four 12" rectangular plates and couldn't be more pleased with them. The lip is functionally high enough to accommodate anything you put on it but at the same time it doesn't appear bowl-like. I am a chef and at home I cook many East-West fusion dishes so these fit perfectly as either plates or platters. They are refrigerator/dishwasher/oven/microwave safe and are sturdy without being 'clunky'. I absolutely love them and you will too. They came very well packaged against breakage and the shipping box is excellent for storage if you don't use them daily. ... show more
