But finding a table the right height, diameter and wood tone to accommodate them, and my smallish space, was a challenge. This one was perfect! Now, it is made of engineered wood so be prepared for that; you're not getting a solid wood table at this price. But honestly, it feels plenty sturdy and it looks great! Bought this to try to match a couple of barstools. Just as I hoped the “espresso” is the darker wood that still has enough dark, reddish brown to keep it from looking like a black painted table. It has a rich, warm, real wood look. Very happy with quality and sturdiness. Some reviewers mention it wobbles. There are levelers on the bottom of the base that allow you to get it perfectly stable, at least they do on my tile floor. This item looks awesome. It was super easy to assemble. It is sturdy, stylist and low maintenance. It was just what I needed for a nook in my kitchen. It is a high bar table so needs the nigh bar chairs or stools. Highly recommend.
