I just got the mattress. I have been sleeping on a 16 year old mattress due to financial reasons and did a lot of research before buying this mattress. It is not very “plush”. It is very firm so I would hate to see the firm mattress. Can’t afford a mattress topper at this point but was very disappointed in the mattress. Also noted, I bought from Amazon and had to sign up for a specific window. I received my confirmation call at almost 9 pm at night and it was automated telling me a completely different time slot than I signed up for. What was the point in signing up for said spot? As the mattress was being delivered my initial reaction was how flimsy the mattress looked. Laying on the mattress with no beddings, the mattress was not firm, as it was described and provided no support for my lower back. Within a week I could feel the individual coils in my hip and leg area and decided this was not going to meet my needs. To be fair I am on the heavier side but I wouldn't expect a Sealy (a reputable brand) plush mattress to breakdown after just a week. Every night I slept on this mattress was a night filled with tossing & turning and waking up with back pain. I will say Amazon customer service was exceptional and the mattress was picked up quickly. As an alternative, I've decided to try the Simmons Beauty Rest Plush Euro Top mattress which was delivered today. Of course I'll have to give it a week or so but just on first impression the mattress is more substantial and supportive (purchased from a different vendor). ... show more

This bed is not firm as stated and advertised. The coils are too springy and needs to be more solid. You literally bounce of the sides of the bed. Overall for the price and if you're on a budget it's a temporary bed solution for no more than 2, 3 years and is a Fair replacement if you have an old sinking mattress. After sleeping on air mattresses and couches for the better part of my young life, it feels great to have a real mattress again. This particular mattress gives me everything I need. As a 6’ tall, 190 pound man, this mattress provides me with a nice layer of softness at the top, with firm support underneath. It is the perfect balance between plush and firm. I have not slept this well even when I have had other mattresses.
