I decided to get off the Wet Swiffee mop and pads as I was tired of spending all that money, over and over. This spray mop cleans just as well and I can throw the microfiber pad in the washer and dryer and it comes out great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

2 MONTHS LATER: best mop ever! Great for my 1906 redwood floors, and for my very worn laminate (something plastic?) kitchen & bath floors. It's light, it works smoothly, the trigger doesn't wear out my thumb. From a lifelong loathing of anything to do with cleaning floors, to mopping as a light workout! Not only super easy to use, it really gets the floor clean. My kitchen floor got seriously filthy (needed to be mopped 3 times - any mop wd have needed a lot of time / water / whatever). At the end it was CLEAN. 3x w Reveal mop was immensely less taxing & much more convenient than a squeeze mop and 3 changes of water. If I'd used my Swiffer Wetjet, I would've gone through 3-5 pads & left a lot of dirt behind. Cleaning the bathroom floor took about a minute. I can't say enough...a real 5 star product. Now I've ordered the dust mop cover, so I can clean more often without the hassle of vacuuming. If you want a mop for a medium size home (1800'²), get this. UPDATE: This really is the perfect mop. I've started cleaning the floor *just because it's dirty*. Like a Swiffer but works better, no wasteful & expensive pads, use any cleaning product you like. Amazing! Just got it. I HATE cleaning floors, especially mopping. On first use, this is a miracle mop. A tiny bit easier than using a wet Swiffer: the microfiber pad goes on easier and *stay* on; no need to change the pad while mopping my ungodly dirty kitchen floor (about 12' × 20' room). Dirty as in, probably not mopped for six months, while two people used the kitchen and went out the back door to take out trash & deal with containerized succelents (i.e. gardening lite). My one concern was that the unpowered spray trigger would wear out my poor weak hand. Not so. It's got a long lever arm & it's perfectly comfortable. All the other great features also work smoothly. I still don't like mopping, but this is probably as easy as it gets. I'll return to update this review when I've put some mileage on my new mop. Racy red trim is cool! ... show more

I've been using this product for many years. I think we bought a new one for our new house 5 years ago and it finally started getting wobbly and worn out. Just purchased a new one. I have about 2 dozen mop heads for it and keep the dirty ones in a bag and throw them in the washing machine when necessary. We have ceramic tiles and are messy cooks so I use this mop pretty much every day in the kitchen area. We also have 2 Bichons that are 3 and we sure used this mop lots when they were puppies!!! The mop heads last forever. I like that you can use your own solution or just water. This is a sturdy and quick mop to keep your kitchen, etc, clean in a jiffy. ... show more

This worked well for my needs - quick mopping of kitchen and bathroom floors. I really like the pads - very easy to clean and reuse and they stick very well to the mop head. I was impressed with the swivel head that worked well around corners and nooks and crannies. I wouldn't use it for any deep cleaning, and it didn't get really dug in dirt/gunk, but for every day use, it works great. ... show more

Our Florida home has a ton of tile. A ton. And we track in lots of sand. For several years I have used a Swifter with the wet refills. It takes five refills per session...I was not unhappy with it but figured there had to be something better... After research I bought the Rubbermaid and love it. It takes about half the time, it allows me to use my own floor cleaning concoction, and is just easier and more comfortable (much longer handle). An I don't have to buy refills and swap them out every couple of minutes. Plus the Rubbermaid mop head material just simply works better... ... show more

I recently installed LVP which takes a special cleaner. The rest of my floors are tile. I bought an extra bottle and extra microfiber pads and have one bottle with tile cleaner and one with LVP cleaner. Add two tablespoons of all purpose cleaner to the bottle for most hard floors. Use your own cleaning products. No batteries. Large cleaning head, with complete swivel. Sprays a wide area with a trigger that’s easy on arthritic hands. Toss the pads in the wash and they are like new. Highly recommend this over the popular spray mop I used to have. Get one today! I have been teased about my mop collection, but it's been a long search that is finally over because this mop delivers what I need from a mop. I am pleased that I can use the cleaning solution of my choice and am not forced to buy specific refill bottles or expensive wet pads. The spray mechanism covers a larger area than I expected, so that was a bonus. The included pads do a great job on all types of flooring.
