This carburetor is excellent. It was for my murray riding mower that is 18 years old! it has a tecumseh 17.5 hp enduro engine. About a week ago I had purchased another carb from someone else off of amazon and the reviews were mixed, quite a few were indicating a ping reduced power because the jet on the engine were not the same as the original - i took a chance and lost - experienced the exact same problems as other reviewers had reported. I had bought the "rotary" brand (this one) back in 2012 and it was great - no problems - and it lasted 6 years. So I ended up buying this one (which was 10 bucks more) and let me tell you, this 18 year old engine runs like it is brand new. Absolutely amazing - just bolted on, put the linkage cranked it and like new - I can idle it all the way down too. If you are in need of a carb for this engine - listen to someone who learned - BUY THIS ONE ... show more
