I deliberately tried to order it too large, and I don't regret it. I'm tall and the robe goes JUST to the floor at a length so perfect it looks tailored. Sleeves are a bit long but that's fine because they roll up easily and long sleeves on a robe are great on cold nights anyway. This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He really liked it. The robe itself and the sleeves are long enough for a tall man. It wraps around with plenty to spare so the robe does not always fall open. The robe is warm and it is nice and soft!

This robe has a lot of overlap for the body, and you order it by body shape/size. I bought one that was to be a good size for me, and it is almost too big, but it's very much body wrapping. If you want cotton terry, this isn't it. It's all polyester, and it is actually easy to get overheated wearing it. The material is very soft on the skin, the waist tie is plenty long enough, it's very much like being in a blanket. It is made very full, will cover your legs right down to the ankles ( in my case it does.) It's a good robe, even though I prefer cotton terry, and costs much less than any oversize cotton terry robe would. The pockets are a decent size too. Overall, I'm pleased with it. ... show more

I originally bought one of these for my hubby. His is so comfortable but WAYYY too big so I looked and—yay!!— found a smaller one in the exact style and brand to fit me! I LOVE IT!! We can sit on our private patio in the mornings with coffee (him) and tea (me) and plan our day in cozy comfort.
