However it makes creaking noise when pressure is applied to ether side of handlebar. it seems secure but mildly worrisome that a future point it might break. I desperately needed to raise my bike's handlebars as my back has been getting sore after a ride because my handlebars were too low. I bought the 31.8 x 130mm size. It is a nice, solid bike stem. It's got good weight to it and it was pretty easy to install. This is just what I needed. I've been riding without for about a month and I'm not getting back pain anymore after a ride. I got this as a replacement neck for my commuter bike, and I was a little skeptical of the adjustable stem... bad memories from my BMX bike when I was a kid and the handlebars slipping when I was jumping over stuff. But these are solid. Very solid when they're locked in. I'm impressed.

I received this Rmiott Adjustable Bike Stem in November 2023. I received the 31.8 x 130mm version. The stem I received matched the product pictures on the Amazon page at the time I received it. The build quality was excellent. I couldn't find any menufacturing defects, sharp edges, metal shavings, or any other things you typically see in a mass produced product in this price range. The finish is good and when you hold it, it just feels solid and well made. I replaced the stock fixed stem that came with my Trek bike. This Rmiott adjustable stem blends in with the look of my bike and it looks like it may have come stock with it. Adjustments were easy to do and the 130mm length helped me to get a more comfortable ride on my bike which is slighly undersized for me. Everything worked great, the only thing I had to do was increase the spacer height under this mount by about 1/8" to allow proper tightening of the head spindle bearings because the mount is about 1/8" shorter than the one I was replacing. Used this on the Walker X3 Pro.

I used this RMIOTT mount to replace the fixed mount on my wife's Genesis bicycle. This adjustable mount allowed the handlebars to be used at a higher position to reduce weight on the riders wrists. Installation was fairly straight forward. You will need a 4mm and 5mm Allen type wrench to install and adjust this mount. Quality, fit and finish are great, but the handle bar clamp isn't groved, spined or knurled. It is smooth and I prefer a groved surface to help hold the handlebar and prevent it from rotating in the clamp under stress. The height adjustment does have interlocking teeth that prevent slipping of the handlebar height. Overall, I am happy with this product and it does what it was designed to do! ... show more
