Description

This item does not include Wii Remotes. To sync Wii remotes with the console please follow these steps. 1. Press the Power Button on the Wii console to turn it on. 2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. If you are using a Wii mini, the SYNC Button is located on the left hand side next to the battery compartment. The SYNC Button is a darker shade of red than the console. 3. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to be synced. Some models of the Wii Remote include a hole in the battery cover and a tool on the wrist strap to push the SYNC Button with. With this model, the battery cover does not need to be removed to access the SYNC Button. 4. Press and release the SYNC Button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the Player LED on the front of the Wii Remote will blink. While the lights are still blinking, quickly press and release the red SYNC Button on the Wii console. 5. When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4). 6. This sync procedure must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to the system.

Look, you know what a Nintendo Wii is at this point. I had trolled auction sites to replace my old one with a broken disk drive but was nervous about return policies etc. I bought this one from Amazon because of the return policy. I ordered from rock_30_games if that matters (I have no idea how the renewed process works). Regardless, it is perfect. Some minor scratches but I had to be looking for them to notice. The CDs now load nice and smooth like they are supposed to. None of the doors covering the game cube ports were loose (often an issue) and it really felt like a brand new console. It obviously had been cleaned and prepared by someone who knew what they were doing. If I need another replacement in 12 more years, I will buy this one again. It came wrapped in plastic, well packaged in bubble wrap. A small custom made paper insert showing you how to sync your wiimotes was included. That is likely a common reason for return, customer hasn't synced their wiimotes in a decade and forgot they had to. The fact that they had a custom printed little card taped to it indicates that whoever is refurbishing these things does it a lot and knows what they are doing. Half of me wants to buy another one and stick it in a drawer in case I need another one a decade from now. ... show more

I wanted to play guitar hero so bad then my old wii disk drive stopped working… I went to fix it but it wouldn’t eject the disk after it accepted it so I gave up and bought another one. Great price and works perfectly. Highly recommend

The Console is working fine however it is a little loud as it is playing a game CD & occasionally gets "frozen" when playing a game and it has to be unplugged to be reset, none of the buttons work when it is "frozen". As I was plugging in my cords I found there was a large amount of what I think may be cat hair stuck under one of the white covers where you can plug in other cords. I did find it funny that my console was named "fart" but I'm not sure if that was from the original owner or whoever refurbished it.     • This product was broken. Never worked
The Wii that we received never worked. Item was broken and not in working condition. It would not read a Wii game disc at all. We ordered this in August as a replacement, but it was not taken out of the box until November 20 when my son came home for college for Thanksgiving break and wanted to hook it up. It was broken and would not work at all. Unfortunately we were just outside of the window to return, so paid full price for a broken item that does not work at all. ... show more

I t is old and refurbished, but it works just like new. With the “Sports” DVD, I can play WII Golf, Bowling, Tennis, or Baseball. These help keep my brain occupied. At 74, that is important to me.
