Description

Red Devil's Extreme Duty caulk gun has a 26: 1 thrust ratio applicator with 950 pounds of force! it is especially useful for high viscosity materials that are hard to extrude, like hybrid adhesives and epoxies. It has an ergonomic rubber trigger and push release for better comfort and grip. The revolving, easy-load barrel comes with a "no drip" feature and a seal puncture tool. 1/10 gallon barrel holds most standard cartridges.

This is pretty solid but not a huge step up from my 10:1, $12 caulk gun this replaced. The handle is comfortable. If my expectation is for some light DIY work, this fits the bill. I used this gun to apply urethane sealer on a rear window glass in a vintage car. Was easy to use and only required a minimal amount of pressure from my 65 year old hands. Glad I bought it as it helps you lay down a nice even bead.

Tried using the basic 15 to 20 dollar big box store caulk guns with no success, was like trying to pump cured silicone. Ordered this 26:1 mechanical advantage caulk gun and it pushed the thickened epoxy through the mixing spout effortlessly. Tip, when using thickened epoxy caulk tubes, allow the sun to heat the tube before uncapping, definitely will flow better. ... show more

It's smooth all the way through the squeeze of the trigger. It has a very comfortable grip in my hands (I have fairly large hands) but it is everything you'd want in a caulking gun.
