Yes, a little time consuming to piece together, but after the first piece , the rest went smoothly! Do yourself a favor and use your own tools. I am impressed about the quality and sturdiness of it all, and it looks great by our pool. Fire pit works great, and adds a nice touch. You definitely cannot beat the price! This set was purchased for my condo patio area. It fit perfectly as I measured prior to purchase. I also read the reviews.......They must always be taken with a grain of salt per se. The assembly was not as some described. I am a 55 year old woman, I did it all by myself. It did take several hours but was not difficult at all, just time consuming. Would gladly give this set 5 stars because it is well-built, stylish and priced right. It is even very easy to assemble if you have patience, despite many reviews stating otherwise. However, the packing list and directions are terrible. For instance, there is a large red note on some of the chair pcs that states something to the effect of "if the parts do not line up, please change directions and try again", instead of just using some arrows telling you which way they go. You don't find out if you have it the right way until your about 1/2 hour into it, then you may have to disassemble and reassemble (as I did). Totally avoidable and frustrating. ... show more

Well, I never bought patio furniture from Amazon, so I was not sure what to expect. When I got the boxes, I was nervous that there was NO WAY all pieces were in the 6 boxes, and if they were, they would be tiny. Well, I was dead wrong. Hats off to whomever designed the packaging and orientation as we were SHOCKED at what came out of the boxes and the pieces all fit in there. It was amazing. As far as assembly, just pay attention to the pictures. I would suggest getting a 5mm hex driver for your power tool AND a 90 degree head, it will make life much easier, as well as a 10mm open end wrench. Then, and this is important, do NOT tighten screws until it is assembled loosely. Then hold each piece in the proper location, then tighten them starting in one corner and working your way around the piece you are assembling. Once it is tight, you will find that the pieces are rock solid and you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were. The weather covers add another nice touch as well. Hopefully this set will last a long time. The seats are all very comfortable, and the back height/support is not an issue even for tall people. Whomever they paid to write their assembly descriptions should be fired. 8 random boxes, filled with random bits, nothing clearly marked, and 2 tiny boxes of hardware for the entire project but no labels leads to a psychotic scavenger hunt just to know where to start. 2 Assembly manuals for all of it which only have pictures looking like a drunk person drew them. Only 1 way for seat bottoms to be attached, but no markings showing that direction. You have to assemble and disassemble until you find the singular direction that works. Keep in mind, the space to screw things in is small and can only be accessed by hand and a semi-worthless Allen wrench. Your drill or electric screwdriver will not be of any use except for the feet. Our IKEA play set was way easier to put together and that is saying something. This has been the absolute worst assembly experience of my life. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had the typical rattan 7 piece, but hated that the cushions were thin, stiff and always slid around. I was in the market for something better. The bougie one I wanted was 2k, let’s be real, with the way the world is right now, uhh no thanks. I found this gem, pretty much identical to what I wanted. I will say the assembly was a nightmare but if you have a drill, it definitely makes things go by faster. I chose the set with the table due to the fact I already had a fire pit. The color of the wicker and cushions are beautiful! The cushions are way better than what I expected and definitely what I had before. Also the fact that each piece has a cover is a game changer! I believe it’s worth the money! I really hope it keeps up! I can’t wait for summer cookouts! ... show more
