Raspberry Pi 4 Model B-8GB is the latest product in the popular Raspberry Pi range of computers. It offers ground-breaking increases in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory, and connectivity compared to the prior- generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, while retaining backwards compatibility and similar power consumption. For the end user, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B provides desktop performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems. This product’s key features include a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K via a pair of micro-HDMI ports, hardware video decode at up to 4Kp60, 4GB of RAM, dual-band 2. 4/5. 0 GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5. 0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3. 0, and PoE capability (via a separate PoE HAT add-on). • It's a Raspberry Pi: you either get it or don't
You won't play graphics intensive games or mine cryptocurrency with this. You'll use this as a file server or do home automation. This is for basic functionality or single purposes. Why use 200 watts or more to look for cat videos when 20 watts will do? Helps to know Debianish terminal commands. There are a few Raspberry Pi specific quirks to be familiar with. If you've never heard of Linux, then this may not be for you. ... show more

  • Amazing little board
This little board is capable of doing as much as almost any full size laptop or desktop computer. Plug in your USB keyboard and mouse then hook up to your HDMI monitor and you'll then be using a new mini computer running on a Linux based OS that can be build out and programmed by you to control just about anything you want. With plenty of documentation and sample projects available it's pretty easy to create new products like others are already doing. Hint: Helium Hotspots are built using this same type of board and sell for a huge amount of money. ... show more

  • works like a charm! Really easy to assemble too.
I am a noob for sure and I was able to figure it out. Learned a lot and had sooo much fun. Really great experience. I LOVE when you buy something and it actually works. It's so fun. And the power of this little guy is great.

  • Its a bare bones board.
I got several of these boards. If it was not soldered on, it was not included. Basically, you need a micro-SD card to make the board come up and run and even worse it needs to be programmed correctly. It is going to take some work to "beat it into submission" so that a micro-SD card can get it to come up. I tried some other Micro-SD cards, (I wanted to use) but the power up messages still had issues. Nothing is easy out of the box! ... show more

  • Excellent Computer for Home Automation
This was purchased as a computer for DVR usage. The software company provided a Raspberry PI image that was downloaded and installed without issue. I was a total novice to Raspberry PI. I am sold and looking for other home automation uses.
