  • No more needles or messing up your vinyls
I got 1 of these along with a normal turntable and it's been the best of both worlds. I still use DVS on the regular turntable when mixing digital records. This has alot of features like allowing you to go thru the song with the slider up top and enough buttons so you don't have to use the laptop or mixer for most things. The big disk is a little slippery and I wish they added some better grip dots or something but if it's an issue 12inSkinz makes custom platters that include 3 diff types if grips and custom designs. Overall I'd highly recommend this for normal DJing and scratching ... show more

  • If you use Serato this is the way to go.
Been a DJ for over 30 years, love my Technichs 1210s but this is the best way to spin mp3 format. Feel just like turn tables.

  • This is an awesome piece of tech but...
RANE just one-upped themselves with the RANE One. Unfortunately I only had room for one and somebody had to go back :-(

  • No mote DVS, phase and extras
I love how direct this is so less cluttering and components to a set up. I sold my turntables , o didn’t like charging batteries for the phase, didn’t like the dust that could collect in DVS, this is just perfect, I couldn’t be happier and love to mix in these with the 70 mixer.

  • Spinning & Grinning
I love these decks, controllers, or turntables! Whatever you wish to call them, they work! I used Technics 1200 for years until finding vinyl records of new songs became impossible. My first attempt going into the DJ/software world was with the Denon SC-3900 decks. They were decent, but I missed the 12-inch platters. After watching videos on the Rane 12's for two years, I ordered them and they are super-fantastic. They feel just like my old Technics without the issues of needles, ground wires, and vibration interference. If your background started from turntables, these are the decks for you, hands down! You can customize everything about them to your specific needs with the appearance and feel, plus they are built like tanks. Get 'em and never look back! ... show more

  • Way over priced.
I owned a pair and sent them back after living with them for a week. They look great, perform well but 2 things turned me off. 1 was there is no tone arm/needle stylus so I can switch to playing my huge vinyl collection & 2, I found it extremely odd that to power these highly expensive platters off, I would have to tilt one side up to reach the power switch under the turntable. (?) Who in RANE was the Einstein that thought of this? Not a typical design at all. These are just way too pricey for what they cost to build and I consider RANE as a great company with great solid products but this is just greedy and not really worth the money. ... show more
