Description

Rancho – a popular brand of suspension, shocks and more worldwide – was born in the 1950s in Long Beach, California, as Rancho Supply, and quickly grew into a thriving off-road and performance suspension components manufacturer. In 1985, Rancho launched what would later become its best-selling shock absorber: the RS5000. In 1990, Rancho was purchased by Tenneco Inc. and quickly expanded to include the world's first five-way adjustable shock absorber, allowing off-road enthusiasts to adjust the level of compression/rebound damping to suit their riding style, and launched the first "intelligent" shock, the RSX shock absorber. Rancho continued to grow and add fully engineered, industry-leading shock absorbers – like RS9000XL, Loaded quickLIFT, Pro Series and more – plus suspension systems to one of the world's most recognizable and technologically leading brands. Rancho suspension systems, shock absorbers, accessories and other related products deliver rugged performance for work and play in any on - or off-road environment.

  • These shocks ride excellent
I drive 50K miles hwy per year in an 2015 f250 4x4 Lariat diesel and I was only getting a year out of my conventional Ranchos, I installed these a week ago in my driveway in under an hour and could not believe how smooth the ride was. The boots aren't the best and don't fit as well as I would like but they will keep the dirt off of the shaft. My boxes were all opened so I may have bought returns but the shock quality is worth 2x the price of conventionals. Truck now has 275K miles with new MTX hwy tires and rides LIKE NEW ... show more

  • Boots are to small on front.
Had to stretch them over to barley get zip tie on. Ride is good at the 3/4 setting. 2014 f250ps.

  • Rancho 9000 series shocks
They work great and are adjustable. Really made a difference to how my truck rides. I didn’t care for how the rubber boot fits though.

  • Not good!
I took all the old shocks off my truck installed the new shocks found out when I went to adjust them that one of the adjusters was broken. So I called the supplier for Amazon and he said that I would have to takeoff all the shocks Reebox and send them back to Amazon And they would review it my case. Mind you you can purchase the part on Amazon for seven dollars. So I went to do that and Amazon was charging $23 for shipping. Because it’s not a prime item. So they are on my truck one of them not adjusted. Then I called Rancho manufacturing directly and explained my situation in hopes that they would send me a part gratis Warranty they took my address said they would and they did not. I have been an Amazon prime user for many years and have been very satisfied with the products purchased. This time it looks like I’m getting the old heave ho. ... show more

  • Great ride
Everything about this product I’ve been 100% satisfied. I wished it would’ve came with bolts for the rear shocks. But overall outstanding. 2016 Ford F250…

  • Ranchos aren’t cheap, but we almost can’t tell we are hauling a 3000 lb camper. Well worth it.
We had bought a set for our previous truck, a 2000 F350, carrying a 3000 lb truck camper and were very happy with the huge difference in handling. We were surprised to see Ranchos on the new truck, a 2016 SRW F350 and they performed well. Most of the 50,000 miles on the 2016 were hauling the same 3000 lb slide-in camper. That truck is just starting to show a sign of sway and not correcting immediately so replaced the original shocks with this new set as we are hoping to get to Alaska yet this summer. Yes they are somewhat more expensive but we have been very pleased with performance. ... show more

  • Never had an easier shock install. Huge improvement from stock.
I didn't have this truck ('08 F250) new, but after replacing the shocks which I thought were fine, this truck rides so much better. You could probably get away with just replacing the rear, but replacing the front is just as easy as the rear. For rear: Removal doesn't even require a jack. Just remove the 15/18mm bottom bolt, 18mm top nut. Install is reverse after protective boot installed with zip tie. Torque everything to 46ft-lbs. Front is similar. ... show more
