Having installed automotive accessories for the last 30 years, I can say that China really has it figured out. U.S. Corporate greed just handed these guys the path to making quality products and online retailers light the way to the sales. All benefiting consumers with unvetted products that perform to the top side of mediocre while cutting out the companies that handed them the designs....... Its really quite brilliant! The aluminum latch mechanism works well and locks both left and right sides of the cover at the rear of the truck. I originally had some concern about the plastic cover "tounge and groove" into the rail, its easier than I assumed and keeps the cover nice and snug. Install time was about 30 minutes total, which included cleaning the footprints out of the bed. The only necessary tool was included with the cover and worked as well as anything from Ikea. Overall, the value was more than fair. The fit and finish is as nice as any other brand that used to be made here in the states. I would definitely recommend or purchase again for another truck. ... show more

This bed cover was so easy to install. It took me about 45 min. Yes I am a man and what I read the instructions get out of here. I have had the bed cover on for about two months and have latched and rolled this up many times with out a problem. I have a Ram 1500 with a 5'7" bed. I like the fact that this roles up out of the way so I can use the entire bed. So far no fading, my truck stay outside all the time and in direct sunlight. I am sure over the years it will fade but for now I am extremely pleased. I live in Texas and it's hot 🔥 very hot but it's held up well so far. The metal clasps at the end seem solid and should last a long time compared to other with plastic clasps. The entire product seems to be top quality. Also tge rips that hold it taught are sewn in so when you role it up you do not have to keep up with loose ribs like I have delt with in the past. ... show more

Just installed this cover today in 40° weather. At first, I didn’t think it was built properly, but due to the cold weather, I needed to use my torpedo heater to stretch the cover so that it would eventually very snuggly close. It took some force, but is a beautiful fit. The side enclosures are clever, and I think I like them better than Velcro, thatI’ve had on other tonneau covers. All hardware is good quality and should hold up for years. Installation took about 20 minutes if you use a torpedo heater or any source of heat be very careful. Ideally install this on a warm day in the sun. We don’t get much sun in the Buffalo area. ... show more

This cover fits great and was very easy to install! Fit and finish is great and looks comparable to any tops available from a truck outfitter for 1/3 the price! Just spend some time making sure the frame is even all the way around the top of your bed and loosely fit the clamps to make sure they contact the cross bars when the cover is rolled out. ... show more

I've never installed one before, and I'm a 47 year old female. This was very doable by myself. I did use a drill with an allen wrench bit to start the screws. I used the Allen wrench to finish it off so I didn't over tighten and break anything. I'm including a photo of my first complaint: This stupid thing/screw/whatever thing was so hard to get tight on each side. Even though my grip strength sucks and recent brain surgery means less dexterity in my fingers, I can't imagine anyone with Nimble fingers being able to get this tightened down without some kind of tool. But, I was able to get it with a pair of pliers and work on it for about 5 minutes on each side. Other than that, it's a very awesome tight snug perfect fit for my 2024 Ram Rebel 1500 5' 7" short box. I was skeptical of the side attachments not being Velcro, but once I figured it out and saw how snug and waterproof it would be, I was sold....Decided not to return and kept installing. I'm glad I did! Biggest complaint and the reason for another star lost star: this thing was definitely previously installed and/or used. There were so many dead Asian beetles and flies and debris and metal shards. They should really check this stuff out and sell it as used rather than brand new when it has very clearly been used/installed before. ... show more

Pretty easy to install, spent 5 minutes or so looking at the packing list inventory, I found that the part was already installed, so it shouldn't of been on the individual parts list. Very easy to install, 20 minutes if you don't waste time looking for parts.
