Read many reviews before buying. First bought "multicolor blue" which is more purple/blue to me but still very nice. I'm 5'7" 138lbs & purchased small as did not want to feel like I was wearing a tent. It's a great fit, but as others have mentioned a little snug across the chest. For me the snugness was across the armpit area rather than boobs - though I do not have big boobs, so I would size up if you're well endowed. I bought a 2nd in beige (for fall) - same fit. Washed both before wearing by hand in cold water and no shrinking. Hung to dry and was very surprised that creases could be released by shaking and pulling a little while still damp. (Wash instructions are on label, mine are both 55% rayon/45% cotton). They looked great after ironing.     • Very pretty dress, but it shrinks!

This is a very pretty, bright turquoise green pattern. I think it's prettier in person than the photo. It's a tiny bit difficult to put on and take off because the only opening is the neck, but I can manage. The dress seems to be made fairly well - typical for what you get on Amazon. Don't expect high quality, but for me it's just a simple summer dress to wear around the house or out to run errands. I really don't care for the cords and tassels, maybe one set would be okay but two is too much. But that's the only negative for me and it's just a personal preference. I washed the dress by hand and hung to dry and then when I put it on the bodice had shrunk about 1/2-3/4 ", and even though I will still wear it, it's not the same comfortable fit as it was. My bust is 39" so if you are the same or larger I would order a large instead of a medium. ... show more

    • Two Different Styles Have Different Fit
Size: Large Color: Green
So I got the green and the dark blue. The green fits like a dream and looks great on! After reading the reviews, I was a little worried this would be tight in the bust, but I didn't have that issue (5'4" 160 38D). It's very comfortable. The blue is very pretty, but looks like a tent. The difference is that the green one has a contrasting color band just below the bust, and the dark blue does not. That band gives you a defined waist and that makes such a difference with a loose dress like this! If you look at the pics, you'll see that all the ones with the super-long tassels (which are also a little crazy looking) do NOT have that waist-defining band. Get one with the shorter tassels and you'll love it, especially if you are busty and/or short waisted. ... show more

As others have said, the dress is so fun and flattering, but it shrinks a lot when washed. I washed by hand in cold water and could definitely see a difference in the fit (mostly in chest area). I will cut off the lower strings and wear it with a tank underneath. Hoping it wont shrink any more!

If you’re going to be in the hospital and need to bring a little pizazz with you, maybe this is your jam. Lol. I needed a loose fitting dress following surgery. I first ordered the medium which was the suggested size but it was too tight in the bust. I reordered a LARGE and it fits perfectly. The neckline is a bit low but with both ties closed, it is fine. I am 5’5” and weigh 163. The length hits just above my ankles and it is full without being overpowering. I am 5'4" and 150#. I usually wear a size 10 or medium. I ordered this in a large because of comments about the bust being tight (I am busty). A size large with somewhat snug in the bust but huge everywhere else. It's a pretty dress, just not on me.

This dress is made of nice material. I see that they make this dress for plus size women. What they need to realize is that plus size women have plus size boobs.
