Like most households, we have an infinite collection of plastic takeout containers and Tupperware. I wanted to get rid of them so badly. I did tons of research on different glassware options through Amazon and finally found this item! What I really love about this product is the lids are microwave and dishwasher safe. I was trying to get away from microwaving plastic but sometimes you need a lid in there too!! I was going crazy trying to find a set of glass containers with both dishwasher and microwave safe lids. Tada! We love this set. Our delivery came with all components and no imperfections or cracks. Be SURE to read the care instructions — so much of the damage people report with glass containers is due to not following care instructions. Also, the lids are airtight!!
