We had some extra space in our garage which my significant other decided to convert into a home gym. He wanted a padded floor instead of working out directly on the concrete so he decided on these foam mats. They lock together really well and require no real effort to assemble together. I appreciate too that you can make the area as big or as small as needed with multiple pieces. They are a great insulation for high intensity exercises like rope jumping and are a great sound cushion for barbell work. Our only concern with these is our dogs sometimes like to run around the area and their nails do mark up the pads with scratches. It does not take away the useful effect of the pieces, but it is a visual flaw. So my advice is to be careful with any sharp objects or animals near them. They also clean up easily and do not hold any smell with routine maintenance and have been a great solution for our needs. ... show more

Good but some pieces had some splotchy marks that looked like something spilled and I couldn’t get off with a cleaning wipe. Not worth it to return and reorder. Other than that they work great!

Good puzzle mat for working out or for small children playing. Only con is this has no resilience when my weights or bench are on it. Its a foam material which gets indented by objects and does not return to shape. It lacks a bit of rubber mix. All in all it works okay for me and looks pretty good.

Placed an order for two. The shipping box containing the mats was damaged and was retaped somewhere in transit before delivery. Opening the box revealed cellophane-wrapped mats. Overall product quality appears to be good. One set of mats was good enough to keep. The other was returned for a product exchange due to what seemed to be some sort of stains on several of the mats. When I received the third box I was astonished to see that the mats were not wrapped in cellophane, were dirty, and looked to have been used. I returned the mats for a refund. In the end, I kept only one set of mats. Durability is TBD. I need more than a few days. It is comfortable to walk/lay on. However, heavy objects (i.e., weights, workout bench, etc.) will leave indentations/imprints in the mats. ... show more

I usually live at home that has carpet or something so I'm not too worried about my baby falling down and bumping their head too hard and getting seriously hurt but with my most recent baby boy we live in a home that has really hard tile and floors that have concrete underneath. I have been a paranoid paranoid person about come falling down or rolling over anything like that and getting hurt by slamming his head on the floor. So glad I got these and I will be buying more. They are very thick nice and soft so I don't feel nearly as paranoid I'm pretty okay with him trying to walk now. They're super easy to clean and plus you can take them apart and move them and put them together however you want. I think it's a great idea to have these. ... show more

If you are putting it on, well, any kind of surface and expect it not to slide, you are mistaken. Now, for what it is built for, comfort while on the ground working out, and in our case, TRX exercises, it works great, provides the padding needed for knees, elbows, and tailbones!

Made a huge difference in comfort in patio in summer and winter and taken worry of falling away. Also, I put it in my trailer on floor. Again, much more comfortable in cold and hot weather. I got 3/4" but 1/2" might had done as well. But, 3/4" is easy to fill small areas because it is more square and less prone to turning over. There is a spongeyness so if you're uneasy on your feet, may not be the best. 1/2" might be better for that. ... show more
