If I could have given this dress 3.5 stars, I would have. It’s ok. The slit is positioned well, and the fabric is opaque. It isn’t very forgiving though. And the straps are placed oddly in the front; like, too close together for the style it was going for. It makes bra straps stand out and look obvious and weird. I’d recommend going with a strapless bra or clear straps. Also, Amazon should scrutinize their returns better. This dress was obviously worn and returned. Very flattering, however, it didn’t feel as dressy as I hoped it would. It felt more hawaii vacation or wedding on a beach vibe to me. Dress was about 3 inches too short- or 3 inches too long. Where it hits was right at the ankle, which made it look like a mistake. Either it needed to be a little shorter to be calf length, or a little longer to graze the floor. Dress has darting to give the dress shape, but the excess darting material that is pinched and sewn is left inside the dress, which creates bulk in the material. The material is stretchy and nice, has a fuzz to the inside, seems either lined with the same material on the inside, or it is just a thick material. Either way, the feeling of the dress was nice and thick and even in neon "green" (looks more like a yellow) i couldn't see my tattoos through the dress. I needed about 2 inches of material cut out from the waist to fit my shape better. The top is fitting, but not necessarily flattering. Maybe larger darting would have helped for it to fit my shape better? ... show more

Very flattering & hugs curves well! There’s no compression but if you wear seamless shorts it shouldn’t Show. Had to use boob tape to help with lift :,) I’m 5’5 and it hit right above my ankles - super comfy and soft. True to size
