Description

The Powerbuilt Unijack is the world's first and only portable jack designed to safely lift and hold both regular and unibody cars and trucks. All Unibody vehicles have factory-approved lifting points to prevent damage when jacking up the vehicle. But with a conventional jack, it’s challenging to properly lift and hold a unibody vehicle, because once the vehicle is raised with a jack, there’s no space left to add a jackstand. The Powerbuilt Unijack solves this problem with an ingenious design that both safely lifts and securely holds a Unibody vehicle using a single lift point. The Unijack offers both concave and flat lifting surfaces to accommodate a wide variety of lift points. The 4000 pound Unijack offers lift range from 8-5/8 to 18-3/8 inches, which makes it perfect for sedans, minivans and crossovers.

Tired of hauling out the big floor jack AND jack stands? Me too! This just solved the problem. I use it to rotate the tires on my jeep. I rotate in my spare so all 5 tires. This jack is simple to use and with the locking jack stand I don't have to worry about a jack slowly leaking down. I purchased only one simply to "test it out" and because I'm only removing one tire at a time. I'm probably gonna order another one now so I can fully support an axle off the ground. I'll also be taking this when going off-road just to have a reliable and easy way to change a flat or get me out of a jam. The lift height is plenty for my jeep running a 2½" lift on 34" tires... The price is great and the time saved in not having to jack up a vehicle, place a jack stand, hopefully not exactly where you placed your floor jack and then moving the floor jack out of the way is a huge advantage! It's well built and has plenty of adjustability. The jack stand component works like any other. Remove the pin, adjust the height, install the pin and proceed to jack up the vehicle using the jack (typical bottle type jack) making sure the safety catch is engaging as you lift the vehicle. Jack in action at OEM lift points on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander 2 door. Plenty of lift to spare for removing OEM specified 32" tires. Easy under, easy up, easy down, easy out from under. Easy to pump, not too heavy but solidly made. Buy the corresponding rubber pad for the contact plate to save paint removal on the lift points. Very compact and highly recommend, especially if you rotate all 5 tires every 6K miles as I do ... show more

My vehicle ( Ford transit connect van) sits low to the ground making it almost impossible to do an oil change myself. I use these to jack up the front end of my vehicle high I enough for me to get under there. Because my vehicle is so low, I have to drive forward onto two small sections of two by fours I made just for this purpose. This raises the front end up so that these jacks will fit underneath. They’re about half an inch too tall otherwise but once they’re under there and locked in place, they work very well and feel very safe. I was able to do an oil change in about 20 minutes and saved myself all that waiting and over $100 and never really knowing for sure if they actually changed the filter. These things will pay for themselves in no time they are well made and a good price. They’re small and easy to store away when not in use. If I had 2 more, I could lift the entire vehicle off the ground safely and easily. Now that I have them, I’ll be safely changing oil and doing other repairs on all my vehicles . ... show more

This Powerbuilt combination hydraulic jack and jack stand is handy. I purchased two and use them to lift my truck prior to setting my 3 ton ESCO jack stands in place. After dropping the truck onto the stands, I pump the Powerbuilt back up until it contacts the frame for back-up support. Pros: Powerful, heavy and stable. Cons: A bit quirky to use at first, although a little practice before the job starts sorts thing out. The pump lever for the hydraulic jack comes in two sections. It's connection point is poorly designed and will not stay in place. I modified mine by fusing the two together permanently with JB Weld. While I was at it, I added a hand grip to the 'grip' end of the lever for better purchase. And lastly, the safety bar has a spring loaded ball bearing inserted (like a ratchet) to keep the bar from falling out of possession after insertion. However, it's so poorly placed that the safety bar slides in and out of position with no resistance when not under actual pressure. This last issue caused me to drop a star from the review. ... show more

This a nice jack. I think it should gave a longer handle to jack up with. I lift the back of a heavy duty van. I think to lift 4000 lbs. it would extremely hard to jack it. I love the safety feature in it and it will hold with no problem

A lot of people wrote bad reviews on this Jack stand lift but I ignor it to test it and it worked out great. I believe most people in reality world do not understand how to use these Jack stand lift properly or just think they know. These Jack stand lift clearly state for a suv use why buy it for a Hyundai or a Honda I don’t get it, or you can’t release it read the manual please idiot, you have to release the Jack lift locking clip then slowly adjust the lower fastener to release it down by turning it to the left but I can’t blame everyone sometimes you really do receive a defective one, but anyways I’m a extrem off road guy for 2 years now and this Jack is sturdy and will built from other one that I have experienced with. I put the 6,000 Pound to the test today but receive it a week before, I use it twice today on my 2011 4Runner with a 3inch lift kit with 33inch tires and it worked great. I was able to take off my wheels and suspension to work on both side for around 4 hours. I even shift the car around which is not recommended but even then I need to to get the suspension out and it held its spot really will with out it shifting from its spot. I recommend this Jack stand lift to any off road vehicle user or not, It weigh less then any roll around Jack lift. Anything 4inch lift kit or higher you will not have any room to lift it high enough to take off your wheels. it’s compact and easy to move around, yes you would need a flat surface ground but anyone here knows common sense or you can be like those who left bad reviews on this Jack stand lift cause you don’t know how to use it properly.
