Honestly shocked at how well this worked. Going in my expectations were extremely low. So low I bought another pin vise at Michaels before this one arrived, which turned out to be garbage. That one was difficult to handle and if you pressed to hard, the top spinning grip would not spin. This one was actually functional and worked very smoothly. I was able to make some holes in a vintage stereo pcb with ease to install a new power switch. This took care of the job no sweat! Functionally it's 5 stars but the case and especially storage for the bits could be nicer. Having them all in a tube makes it tough to pick out the size you need. I haven't used any of the higher quality pin vises but for my needs, this wasn't bad for $13.57. ... show more

I've used this on 1/64 scale and miniatures. Great tool and it can be turned to the point to take my larger wheel axle holes into wood and plastic. With a diamond or tungsten bit, I was able to power thru diecast quite well for Gaslands. So good for the price. Top tier value

I needed this to enlarge the fuel metering orofice in a plastic Briggs and Stratton carburetor. The smallest size bit was just right. The chuck adjusts smoothly after you add a couple of drops of oil. It holds the bits snugly. You have to be careful with the smaller bits since they break easily due to their small size. I craft jewelry, and can be hard on a pin vise, they are definitely durable, the only issue with this one is it didn't come with the drill bits that it is supposed to , which isn't too bad cause I have a set of of good bits , but it would've been nice to get what paid for. ... show more
