I had a previous cat tree that was falling appart from years of use by an older cat (whom I had to put to sleep), so I decided to look at other brands for a model more appealing to my current young ones. My previous tree had a bottom section that rearly got used, and was pretty big. This particular tree is a bit narrow, which gives my livingroom more space, but don't let that full you, there is plenty of sleeping and play place. Assembly was very easy, and totally worth it. Every section gets played on, and it's ideal for 2 cats. There are 2 pom poms that my furry kids love, and each gets their own cubbies. Instructions were easy to follow and I was missing no parts. I put it together only this evening so I haven't anchored it to the wall yet. It's really tall so that is a must. The kittens have been up and down it and already love it. I'm impressed because it's really tall and sturdy. I'm going to get some little pillows or padding because the bottoms are just fabric over wood. The color blends in with our home and it's big enough for all 4 cats to use. ... show more

Very nice, not too bad to put together. Best for a small cat or kittens. Will not be sturdy enough for a bigger cat. This is for kittens so for now will be good. The material on the enclosure part is a little thin.

I'm honestly surprised how sturdy this thing is. So far so good, although we just set it up so we'll see how long it lasts. One of our cats insisted on "helping" my wife set it up. It was easy to put together even with it being so tall. It ended up being much taller than expected (5' 3" wife for height reference). She picked out the color and I think our girls like it. I also like that there are scratching posts and a scratch pad on the bottom too. It feels like a durable scratch fabric. There are visible staples keeping the scratch rope on the pole, but I don't think there's any danger of them popping out with our cats. The only con is the smell, but it's not really a chemical smell, more like a woodsy smell. Kinda like IKEA furniture sometimes has. So not a big deal for us, but if you or your cats are sensitive to that, you might want to let it air out for a bit. ... show more

This is worth the price for sure! It's super sturdy and doesn't move even without it being attached to the wall. It's a nice soft material and big enough for our big boy to play and even sleep at the very top. Both our cats love this thing! They got into the little caves even before we screwed in the rods in the corners and they continued to play with it while we were still constructing it. Instructions are also super easy to follow! It's got lots of fun spaces for my kitties, but the one little cubby is fairly small. The two higher platforms are really small. They barely fit when curled up. I'm glad we anchored it to the wall, because it tends to wobble when they play on it. I do like the hammock, which they both LOVE, and my older cat only leaves the cat tower to eat, or use the litter box. The height is great.
