Fastened it to a fence on one side and used that chain link for a top, came out very sturdy and so durable made it through some heavy storms just fine, canopy top got rips in it from the metal ties, I ended up using zip ties for top would have saved the canopy top

    • Difficult to assemble
I was not prepared for the 6 hours it would take and the need for 3-4 people the assemble this kennel. The fencing which was precut too small for the door needed to have additional rows added in which was very time consuming. The metal rods to attach the fencing were not user friendly. We ended up using zip ties only. The self tapping screws were difficult to use and an impact wrench is needed as holes are not pre drilled. The tarp for the roof is not very good quality. Some hardware was missing for the latch. Once assembled, it was as shown in the picture and acceptable but be prepared! ... show more

    • Fence Not Suitable for large dogs
Unfortunately my Great Pyr dog has escaped multiple times from the kennel. She is 8months old and can pull the chain link apart in the middle of the chain as well as pull out a wired down corner. I have had to ziptie 1/2" mesh welded fencing all around the chain link (multiple layers) as well as continually maintain and fix/mend the chain link fence internally. Also I have only had this for maybe a month or so and the top canvas has started to have wear marks and looks like will rip where it comes in contact with the brackets from the wind blowing hard and the rain fall.     • Absolutely POOR QUALITY
This item arrived and not only was it a terrible assembly process but the quality is beyond poorly made and parts were missing that we needed in order to even finishing assembly correctly. I still haven't even heard back from the sellers on sending me the parts that are missing. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! IF I COULD REQUEST A FULL REFUND WITHOUT HAVING TO TEAR DOWN and box back up WHAT I WAS ABLE TO ASSEMBLE I WOULD DESPERATELY WANT MY MONEY BACK! VERY DISAPPOINTED ... show more

Got the kennel but no hardware for the canopy nor the canopy covering. After 3 days other items showed up.

Don’t waste your money. This kennel is not worth the price. What a piece of crap. Didn’t come with all the parts and after emailing several times, still can’t get the parts we need.

Get ready to put some effort in to assemble. I had to buy metal zip ties and a tool to cut them with to properly secure the fencing. In the end it works fine and the dog doesn’t mind it for an hour here and there. Also doubles as a drunk tank if your fire pit night gets a little crazy.
