Believe it or not I constructed this inside my family room! I took one of my feral cats to my vet to be neutered and he tested positive for FIV. Not willing to have him euthanized I looked for a way to bring him inside on a permanent basis without exposing my other kitties to the virus. This fit the bill perfectly. He has lots of room to move around and I made some adjustments so that I could attach an extra cage for his litter box so it would not take up any space in the actual cathouse. It was easy to assemble and all the pieces were well marked with numbers and letters and the instructions were clear. I am a 69 year old woman and I had no problems putting it together. This kit does come in two shipments and I didn't get the second box for a couple of days so I did contact customer service and they were quick to respond and very helpful. The second box showed up later that same day. It doesn't have a floor so I did set it on top of a piece of linoleum to make clean up easier. I am very happy with this purchase and it looks nice. This was easy to build. Would have been easier if I had help. My husband built a platform and cut out wire so cats can enter through pet door. They love it. 🐈🐈⬛

It was fairly easy to put together only took a few hours. The actual structure is a bit flimsy but with the roof but keeps it strong overall good quality. My cat approves of it very much and has been in it every day since I put it together. .

    • Works great for what we needed!
We are long term house sitting and the home owner is allergic to cats so we had to find a way to keep ours from roaming the house. This fit perfectly in one of the bedrooms and our cat loves it! When we move again we’ll put this outside so our cat can enjoy the outdoors too!

    • It's better than imagined
The media could not be loaded. We have a very overweight cat so we opted to not put up the shelves and instead we put in a cat tree! We are slowly adding more stuff into it but my cat loves it. He always wanted to be an outdoor cat but I would never allow it because he's too cute and would get stolen like our other cats have. The only things that I did not like (but which were easily fixable) are: 1) The instructions have you put the door hardware on before you assemble the entire structure. Latches worked fine at first, but after assembly of structure latches misaligned. My advice is save that for last step after assembly of structure. 2) Roof needs to be sloped, normally is flat. Need to add a 1x2 the length of the unit on the house side and use longer screws. This will let water run away from house. Other than that no complaints. Cats absolutely love it.     • Missing Pieces
I revived two large boxes, but I’m missing instructions and screws. Since I’m missing the instructions, I don’t even know what other parts I’m missing. This is incredibly frustrating since today was the only day I had to assemble this. SMH

Loved this product. Bought in the beginning of Summer for our fur babies. We’ve had it for about 4-5 months and the roof is already moldy. Poor roof design. My cats absolutely love it, however, I’m very upset with the amount we paid for this for it to have mold after just 4-5 months when this product advertises that it is waterproof and okay to be outdoors.
