With the technology we have today, why can't someone make a smaller unit that fits a small dog. Not that this one is a monster, but c'mon. All the features work well. Display could be brighter.

    • Favorite Collar of the 5 I own, Company responds!

I have purchased FIVE collars that have the beep/vibration/shock feature in the past two years. I've had this adorable pink one for 6 months and it's my favorite, by far. But what REALLY impressed me was the customer service of the company when I broke my remote on accident last month. I put the wrong charger into the port on the remote which broke the internal prong rendering the remote as completely and utterly useless as my ex-husband. My frustration over this was compounded by the fact that ALL FOUR of the other collars were broken in some fashion or form, too. (One of them had a broken strap, one had a remote that wouldn't even turn on, one broke at the port of the collar, etc.) I didn't put together that every collar was broken since I don't use them constantly. So, I sent a desperate message to the seller of each collar set, describing what was wrong with each one and asking if I could pay for a replacement. I asked for a replacement strap from company 1 and got crickets in return. From company 2, I asked if I could purchase a new remote because mine wouldn't turn on and they said they couldn't sell it separately. One of the collars only needed a magnetic charger since I lost the specific one made for the collar (it's a very rare charger type that I don't have a duplicate of) and they didn't respond either. Luckily, the CY-US PATPET seller was willing to rescue me from my dog collar nightmare. He looked at the photos, diagnosed the issue, and shipped out a new remote completely FREE even though I made the purchase six months ago. Now, here's the rest of my review on this collar since I feel like I'm a dog collar aficionado at this point. PROS: It works! (this isn't the case with some of the other brands) Lightweight and compact Smaller than every other collar I have Super easy to set-up Great customer service It's cute! The rest of mine are huge, bulky black contraptions anddddd, the price is right! CONS: It gets dirty easily but I can't really fault the company for that. The chargers are not USB-C or A or micro-USB.....they're some specific one, so don't lose it... ... show more

Like: Excellent as a deterrent for bad behavior, and helps reinforce good behavior. Good training tool. Opal loves the beeping feature. She comes, sits, and goes down when I use it. She responds to it better than with the treats. Opal is responsive to all three levels. Dislike: The battery lasted much longer when I first got it, but now it barely makes it through one day. I have to charge it every night and by six or seven pm it stops working. Of course, not replaceable would have to buy the whole set again. One side of the metal piece that goes under the electrodes broke off and I cannot buy just that piece. (see picture) The few times I had to resort to using the shock feature, she yipped and ran over to me, displaying fear behaviors. Opal tears things up, and I want her to stop being so destructive all day every day but I hate seeing her respond in fear when I use the shock button. The problem is, it is the only thing that stops this behavior. The collar is hard to clean because of the design, you can't take it off of the device. (see picture) ... show more

I’ve been using this for two weeks/ I do turn it off when my dogs not wearing it. But I still don’t need to charge it. I also love how it looks, because most people are very judgemental over shock collars, even though I’ve never even had to use the shock on it because me doggo listens to just the buzz.
