Plenty or paint and all the right colors in this kit and the canvas is very detailed. I really love the picture but the project itself is very detailed and challenging and needs time to flatten out before starting. The set didn't come with a paper reference copy so if you have to paint over part of a neighboring space's number because that space was too small, you are going to have to make a note of what color should be in that space. Smaller brushes (no in the set) are also helpful to manage the small spaces. With a lot of patience and time, you can get a nice end result and unique painting when finished. ... show more

Tumovo does a lot of paint by number kits, and they have both pros and cons. The company definitely does produce some interesting designs to paint, for starters! Unfortunately, they do ship the designs folded, which can create a difficult canvas to work on. The canvas can be ironed, but not easily. The designs often have small areas that need to be painted very carefully and, though they include paint brushes with every kit, the paint brushes are often way too big to be able to paint the smaller areas on the canvas. I, personally, have never had a problem running out of paint or receiving a kit with dried paint, but I know that sometimes that's a hazard with kits -- and the drying out when they're not vacuum-sealed, as Tumovo's kit's paints aren't. The numbers in the design are small, as well, and sometimes hard to read, even with reading glasses. This particular kit (I got the 'Fleshiness' kit) does have some very hard-to-read spots, and spots that I know I'm not going to be able to accurately paint no matter how carefully I paint, but I'm okay with that. This kit is pretty good -- especially for their price! -- in my mind. These aren't the easiest or least frustrating paint by numbers kits out there, and some kits will of course be easier than others, but I'm personally enjoying slowly plugging away on this design. I would of gave more stars. However the brushes they provided could nowhere get to the tiny numbers. You need to buy 000 brushes. Some of the numbers are so small you can barely see them.
