It's super cute because vampires supposedly hate garlic, and it definitely minces the garlic very well, but as everyone says, it is difficult to get all of the garlic out of it. I recommend adding an extra clove of garlic to compensate for the amount that gets stuck in it. Or you can use tweezers or a toothpick or something to get it all out. Either way, it's still better than mincing with a knife and having your hands and utensils smell like garlic for days. ... show more

I’ve always love this brand, literally everything is so cute. Gracula breaks up the garlic pretty well. It won’t be as finely chopped as with a knife but I like big chunks of garlic in food. Easy to use and clean. Sometimes you have to pick the pieces out but it works well.

This little guy does a REALLY great job of grinding/crushing a lot of garlic quickly! Besides being ridiculously cute, he's sturdy and easy to clean. He only faintly held on to the garlic smell after cleaning, but let's be honest, garlic is PUNGEANT so no surprises there. I do think that using a small silicone spatula is helpful for getting the garlic bits out that get stuck in the grinding teeth I smile whenever I get to use him which is a lot because there's no such thing as too much garlic. I got this product as a stocking stuffer for my boyfriend who loooooves garlic. He uses this all the time! It makes dicing garlic so quick and easy, and it is super cute and fun. It can be a little bit difficult to get the garlic out of it, but not too bad. My only complaint is that once when cleaning the product, some water must have gotten into the top of the product because now I can hear water swishing around in it and there is no way to get it out. That said, it's somewhat hard to get all the crushed/minced garlic out of him; it sticks to the base and the top since the garlic juices adhere the little bits of garlic to the plastic. I really want to say something more good but except the design I cannot find: Garlic is not well crushed, hard to remove ( need to use a kitchen pencil) and hard to clean. There is water left in the head part after washing. I really not recommend if you want to use for minced garlic

I can’t believe I went without a garlic peeler for so long! I cook with fresh garlic often and always struggle to get the peel off the clove with my fingers.
