This hair wax does a pretty good job of holding your hairstyle. It doesn't really have a scent at all and washes out easily at the end of the day. You need to use a lot of it for the color to show up unless you have very light blond hair. If you touch your hair a lot during the day, the color will transfer to your fingers and if you are being active and sweating, the wax (and the color) can end up transferring to your forehead. I am giving it 4 stars because the pictures in the product listing are so unrealistic. Your hair is definitely not going to look like those pictures. For one, the product will make your hair kind of crunchy and stiff, not soft and flowy. For another, with the amount of this wax you need to use for color to show on your hair, you would never have enough to cover all of your hair. So the good news is this thing works as a temporary silver hair solution that also styles your hair. The catch is you’ll have to apply a lot of it. I used this for a concert because the theme was metallics and silvers. I did a test run the day before to make sure it worked. In terms of styling, it’s as good as any wax equivalent. In terms of silver, you have to apply a decent amount or it’ll just be gray. Luckily for me, I was fine with gray or silver. You can apply by grabbing a cherry-sized amount, rubbing it in your hands and gliding it from roots to tip. How often you comb your hands through will make it less and less silver. Overall, as a temporary coloring and styling solution, it’s five stars. But but with color intensity, it’s a four star for me. I have black hair but since the wax sits on top of the hair, it does a good job at covering my hair and turning it green. The wax has some glitter in it, so it makes the hair shine under light but it looks really nice and perfect for a one day thing. It’s super easy to wash off and does not stain! It literally comes off my hands so easily and I love that it works as pomade so it also styles my hair at the same time. For darker hair you’ll need a good amount of product. I could have used more product on my hair but I was just testing it. I also found it to cover my hair much easier when my hair is barely humid. I tried this product on my son, who has very short hair. I was easily able to comb this through his damp hair and give him some cool spikes and texture while turning his normally medium brown hair bright green. This washed out easily with shampoo during his next shower. I did not let him sleep with this in as I didn't want to chance staining the sheets, but I didn't find that it caused any issues on his clothing during the day so it may have been fine. This hair wax is really awesome. It allows you to add a pop of color to your hair without actually having to dye it. I used it to go to a party and the color was pretty intense without having my hair be sticky or matted. I like that the jar is big enough that I can use a comb or other applicator in it and not have to worry about getting my hands green as well. I didn't find this hard to wash out, I did have to shampoo my hair twice but I always do that when I use a wax on my hair. I love this color but on my black hair, it becomes a darker tone. It still shows but not as much as it should. My friend has blonde hair and hers looks so much better and the color looks better and it didn’t take a lot to get her hair looking good.
