Bought ceiling fan at Lowes, but it's 5 watt LED bulb was not very bright, and small light kit would not allow a larger bulb. Found this round led on Amazon and it fit perfect. Magnetic base made for quick, easy retrofit. Took about 7 minutes.

Replaced the led disk in a home decorators fan from home Depotthe original only lasted a couple of years. My mounting plate is aluminum so it did not work. I used double sided tape to secure it. It was an easy installation. Just connect the colored wires together with the included connector. Not as bright as I want to but much better than the previous yellowish light. I should have look for more wattage to make it bright.

Ok. I love amazon, but HATE getting a used product. My husband installed the LED light into our ceiling fan. He made it fit, as he is knowledgeable about electrical stuff, but if you have no experience, the leads are too big and will not fit the standard light. Before we installed it, it came in a bag, like the ones for Amazon returns, it was not in a box, and the light had been scratched in several places, like someone tried to install it, but it did not fit. Again, I hate getting a used product....and this is DEFINITELY used. I am not returning it because it was a good price, and my husband installed it. Would I buy again> ABSOLUTELY NOT! Shame for sending this to us!!!!! ... show more
