I replaced my camper toilet with this composting toilet and am extremely pleased with the choice. Almost no maintenance other than emptying the bucket and urine tank, which they have made pretty easy as well. Now, if only the bricks of coconut coir were easier to break apart. Came with a vent tube but I thought I would try without it first because I hate putting holes in the camper. Glad I waited. No vent tube was needed. It takes a very small DC power cord which was easy to patch in on another DC circuit. Only thing I would change is that I didn't remove the toilet flange in case I didn't like it and wanted to revert back. The OGO toilet has a solid bottom, so I had to build up a platform around the toilet flange. It sits just a little too high because I chose this during installation (not OGO's fault). Doing it over, I would remove the toilet flange so I don't have the added height on the toilet. This is very sturdy and much better than a standard RV toilet. I wish they would make some RV's and campers with factory installed composting toilets. Between this toilet and switching out the rooftop air conditioner to a mini split heat pump (efficient air and heat) has made my camper much better for me and more flexible. ... show more

I have a large woodshop as a side biz but don't have toilet facilities in the shop. So, I decided to try this product. Very easy to assemble, simple instructions, light weight unit. Had to do some googling to figure out what medium to use and how much to use but once I did that, it was a breeze. I do not have this vented to the outside and there is still no change in smell of my shop (still smells like a woodshop and not a latrine). Cleans easily. I have no reservations about getting one of these units for my hunting camp but just venting it outside. Fan can't be heard and draws almost no power. This works, but it is not designed at all for male parts. A real pain to use. You are better off taking a leak outside and good luck finding room for your "stuff" if you are a guy when going #2 🤣

Let's talk about the price. It's expensive. It really is, but so are all good compositing toilets. Here's why it's worth buying: EVERY single piece of this toilet can be bought off of their website. Meaning if a tiny piece of plastic breaks or a wire breaks, the whole toilet isn't trash. All of the optional things they offer are very useful too. This toilet keeps smell to a minimum. First time RV'er. Did not want to mess with hooking up black tank. I am going to retire in the RV. I installed by myself, over 65, female. I will tell you, the fan is so quiet I thought it was broken.

The media could not be loaded. Haven’t used! Before first camping trip and the slider to take #2 wouldn’t open. Digger a little further I found that The little plastic thing that makes the flap move is broken. There is no way to replace this part. I’d recommend this toilet to anyone because of all the other characteristics like electric fan, electric Auger and how convenient everything is. If they don’t fix the issue of the plastic flap that I show is broken then I’d never recommend this product. I have not used the toilet even once. I didn’t know it was broken until I went to use it for a test run (didn’t even test it) and the flap wouldn’t open up compartment #2. ... show more

    • Customer service is outstanding!
When I installed the OGO toilet the liquid level sensor light was always on. I called customer service and Kevin was very helpful and I was able to make adjustment to the sensor. I live in a motorhome and we use vent fans often. These fans tend to overpower the electric fan in the toilet and tend to draw the smell into the living space. I contacted customer service and Kevin helped me with additional parts so I can draw air from outside through the toilet. They answer the phone when you call, you can understand them and they are helpful. The toilet seems to be well built and should last a long time. ... show more
