They stretched all the way up and never rolled down. Now I will say to make sure to really pull all the fabric up as you go to make sure the crotch area fits properly. Only problem was they had a small snag on one leg but that honestly could have happened anywhere along the way to even myself not noticing and causing it. I was amazed at how easy they were to put on & pull up because they looked so tiny! They are more opaque than sheer & have amazing stretch and durability. The best feature of all: once you pull them up, they actually stay in place! Other brands tend to slip down when I walk, dance or sit. These were easy to pull up and down, and stayed in place all evening through a class reunion celebration. My fiance used to buy the walgreens tights since those were the best bang for your buck and it’s a requisite for her job so she wears them every day. They were comfortable in every way but walgreens decided not to sell those any more. Spent months trying to find a good substitute from different stores and at the same time, go to different walgreens to see if they had it. Obviously they didn’t last long. In my last ditch effort, I tried to find it online and that’s when I stumbled upon these from Amazon. Like the name suggests, these are no nonsense tights. I bought 4 pairs with full intentions of throwing them away every time. This is the first pair of stockings I've ever had that I didn't run by the end of the night! They lasted the entire day! They're strong and durable, because they're made thicker. They are thick but breathable. They didn't not make me sweaty and I usually run hot. Also the stomach compresses to hit your gut but its not uncomfortable or too tight and doesn't roll down when you walk. 15/10 recommend these stockings.
