The Nanit Pro is an excellent product for so many reasons. The ability to view our daughter through the video stream, the built in night light so we can see what we’re doing when we need to take her out of bed, the built-in sound machine, and the video recaps to give us a sense of how long she’s sleeping consecutively. Highly, highly recommend this product. Now for my fellow deaf and hard of hearing parents…one of the reasons we chose this monitor in particular is because of the ability to push notifications from the monitor to our phones and smart watches. However this is where I discovered a major limitation - there is no smart watch that allows me to customize the length or intensity of the vibration alerts so it wakes me up when she cries at night. Which is super unfortunate, because the Nanit is excellent at picking up on her cries throughout the house and not just right next to her. I’ve tried multiple other systems and they just don’t match the sensitivity level of the Nanit. During the day, it’s great because I can be anywhere in the house and receive the quick buzz to let me know she’s crying. But I’m still working on the night piece. With that said, I’ll keep searching for a solution for my particular needs, but as far as baby monitors go, we love our Nanit! ... show more

Great picture and sound quality! This has the best night vision by far from any monitor I have seen. I like the option to monitor my baby’s breathing with the different wearable options. I love that I can watch it from anywhere and it is super secure! 10/10! So sleek and nice looking! So easy to use even grandparents can use it with no issue! It’s so convenient that it tracks the baby’s sleep so you can easily time naps. It’s also nice that it can track your child’s height, weight and milestones! ... show more

    • Where Was This When I was having Babies?
This monitor does it all and checks all of the safety boxes. We did our research and wanted something portable, small and easy to use. We also wanted something new and gadgety (is that a word?). Bought the stand seperate and they work together well. Baby tech is so expensive now and new items are always coming onto the market. We've been impressed with this one so far and use it every day. so far it's given us no problems and works wonderfully! This was a lot to spend on something we won't use forever but hope it lasts in case there are any other babies coming in the future! ... show more

I absolutely love our Nanit baby camera! It provides us with the peace of mind we need, being safe, reliable, and even adding a fun touch to saving precious baby memories. The data points it offers, such as room humidity, temperature, sleep duration, and sleep rating, are incredibly helpful. Despite a few initial false alarms, the Nanit team promptly addressed our concerns and provided valuable tips, like avoiding patterned bed sheets.     • Highly recommend. So worth it we bought a 2nd.
I originally wasn’t happy my wife spent so much on a “baby monitor” when there were less expensive options that were good enough. And why not just get a cheap indoor WiFi cam instead? This is a camera built and developed for a specific purpose and it performs that purpose incredibly well. Now, I’m such a convert that I bought one for grandma’s house. The night vision and picture quality are terrific. We haven’t used the breathing tracker or growth tracker so can’t comment on those. The sound and motion notifications work perfectly. Two way audio is a nice addition. We love that we can get notifications on our phone or iPad. “Background audio” is a nice feature to be able to switch away from the app and still hear what’s going on. My wife and I travel for work a decent amount so it’s nice to be able to check in from anywhere in the world. Our internet went out once and we could still keep an eye on our little one through the local connection. We don’t really use the analytics but they seem to be pretty good. Temp and humidity are great features as well. The only real drawback for us is spending extra on the yearly subscription and that’s really just to have access to past events beyond 24 hours and stored live video. Otherwise you can only look at events for the past 24 hours. One thing I appreciate is the continuing development. They just added split screen for dual cameras. We won’t use that yet but it’s nice to have and nice to know they’re working on adding new features and answering customer feedback. Final say: Buy it. You won’t regret it. ... show more

    • Very easy to use/great stats tracking
We love nanit a lot - it helps us stay informed while our baby sleeps in the other room. It does it’s job, but the subscription fee is quite another expense if you consider the total price of the product. Pros: 1) accurate alert (little false alert for us so far) 2) our baby loves the waves sound that’s part of the music feature you can use to soothe your baby to sleep 3) the data tracking system is quite cool and useful for us Cons: 1) extra money you need to pay per year to use the features of the app 2) pixels are not as high as miku pro, so when we zoom in to see the baby’s face, it’s not very clear, especially at night 3) the way the app calculates the baby’s sleep efficiency is not very comprehensive (the way it counts day and night is quite arbitrary)/rigid, thus less accurate we haven’t had the need to use the breath tracking accessory cuz our baby doesn’t like to be swaddled/wrapped around Overall we are happy with the product ... show more

We have had this camera for almost 2 years now. It has worked perfectly. We did have a few connection issues but fixed our WiFi and it fixed the issue. Very sleek design makes it look good in the nursery. One issue we had was with the durability of the plastic stand. Our son ended up grabbing the base and was able to snap the plastic base where it connects. A replacement base was $100 so we ended up having to rig it up with some metal rods and zip ties so it would stand straight up.
