Item could cause serious lacerations to the skin even if using water in the attached resivoir, wear eye and breathing protection when using thei item also when it is warmer than 76F outside. this is meant to be used outdoors since the resivoir is plastic I only recommend using water based or latex paints, when using this item work in pairs in the event of an emergency, great for putting a clear coat of polyeurethane after refinishing a piece of furniture then take a heat gun to melt the finish for a flawless job the heat gun will melt the runs or flaws making the finish seem flawless but beware it could cause imperfections in satin or flat finishes or even semi-gloss finishes keep heat well away from the finished piece since heat guns can be flamable if used too close , never put your hand infront of the sprayer while it is operating you could actually loose a limb or finger or have deep cuts. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this worked, especially how affordable it was. I was worried but I am worried no more. It's been an exceptionally warm winter so we decided to paint the porch. I wanted something quicker than by hand or even a roller brush so I started seeking out affordable sprayers and this was pretty close to the top. I am glad I chose it. While there isn't anything exeptional about the look or function, it does exactly what it needs to do. It holds a decent amount of paint. I think we filled it twice and there was still some left. It's super easy to use. Fill, hook up and go. Anyone can operate it and when you are done, the best part.... It's super easy to clean!!! Definitely recommend!! ... show more

This is my first paint sprayer so I have nothing to compare it to. With that said, by following the directions I was able to use the sprayer and clean the sprayer without any problem. I only sprayed a clear lacquer finish so I don't know how it would perform with a heavier mixture like latex paint. It's not terribly noisy but I still wore my hearing protection anyhow; just a force of habit from working around machines all day. The instructions have the usual translation glitches, but they aren't so severe as to prevent you from understanding the concepts and accomplishing the tasks. ... show more

I’m a DIYer and not a professional painter but have a little experience with HVLP compressor spray guns. I’ve never used an electric gun. This is basically an electric blower with a lot of CFM substituting for the compressor. It’s a little loud and heavier especially when you consider the large paint container. It breaks down very easily for cleaning, in fact it’s almost snap together. My only complaint is that the needle valve is not removeable for cleaning. The instructions are not very helpful at all, there are a lot of instructions with no illustrations. Basically, there are 3 adjustments, Horizontal or Vertical pattern, Size of pattern and volume of paint being released. That’s it. Since it can be used with latex paint and therefore cleaned with water I tested the spray volume and pattern with tap water. There are 4 plastic interchangeable valves for different paint viscosities. The patterns and spray consistency were solid. It puts out a nice skinny football shaped pattern but it doesn’t take much pressure on the trigger if you’re multi-coating and want light coat. It also wasn’t shooting in a straight line with the gun (see pic) which is really frustrating. After breaking it down to dry it out I noticed that there was still some plastic flashing left from the molding process in one of the air holes that directs the pattern. I took an Exacto knife to clean it out and then it sprayed right down the center line. I haven’t done a paint job with it yet but will report back if there are any issues. ... show more

Purchased to spray the ceilings in our garage. It is VERY VERY easy to use. Especially if you aren’t handy with any kind of tools. Sprays evenly, and does not clog, nor does it have overspray. I will say that you do have to clean it thoroughly after each use, because if it dries inside it is a nightmare to get out of the actual spray nozzle. Otherwise I would purchase again. ... show more
