    • A sturdy fixture for your back yard golf practice!
I bought a pair of these without knowing much about them other than the great Amazon ratings provided by others, and my wallet constraints. Turns out those ratings are well-deserved, because these are both well built, sturdy, properly sized, easy to assemble, and (yay!) budget friendly! Now I just need to convince my nearby neighbors to each put some on their lots, and we'll be game-on! I've had these outside in all kinds of wind and weather since assembling 2+ months ago, and they are rock solid. (Unlike my actual disc golf skills...) The upper bands are black (not yellow) but a couple streamers of vinyl colored ribbon make them easy to spot, and many courses use that brightly colored ribbon on their yellow-banded targets anyway. Very easy to assemble, easy to move and sturdy! It's perfect for some throw time! Plan on leaving it out, so we will see how it does! Highly recommend! (I'm not a pro Frisbee golf chic....just like to play it with my daughter!)

Most of these practice baskets in this price range are near copies of one another. I purchased another one from a different brand and these things must have been made in the same factory. That being said, I like that MVP puts their name on it. When the box got to my house, it looked like it must have been dropped out of the truck a few times. I put the basket together and the wire basket itself was bent up at the rim and hung a little crooked on the pole. I contacted MVP directly rather than going through Amazon or the seller (MVP included a little card about dissatisfaction in the box). I had a new part within days. Good on MVP to stand by the product even when this was not their fault. Ever since, I've been putting the basket to good use. It catches as good as ANY basket I've ever thrown plastic at. The chains are very shiny and pretty. I keep it outside (albeit under cover) and there is no signs of rust or paint peeling. The powder coat on the MVP basket does seem a little more durable than the other basket which shall not be named. If you can catch this thing on sale like I did, you'll be more than happy with the product and what it does for your game. Drive for show, putt for dough. ... show more

Received the basket and it went together quickly without even looking at the instructions. The bolt on the poles aren't quite centered and one had a little lean to it. I gently straighten out the lean as I screwed it together. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Chinese made product. Item would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the screws. I purchased a B Hole Pro at the same time. The light is all it catches my rubber disc with very minimal spit out. I don't throw Mach I like some do. If you power putt with hard disc you might want the Pro. To do again I would order the one with the Transit Carrying Case. It is well worth the $20 extra and cost $50 if purchased separately. ... show more

My son asked for this for his birthday and has been very happy with it. It stays in the back yard so he can practice and he definitely thinks this has improved his game. He has now placed in several tournaments. It’s sturdy and no complaints about the quality.
