It’s SO hard to find a baby monitor designed for two rooms. I researched about a million different monitors over the span of 6months and had a long list of requirements that seemed impossible until this monitor. WIDE CAMERA ANGLE. I have a two and a half year old who was being transitioned to a different big girl bed and room and needed to see ALL of the room. The monitor I had been using didn’t even completely cover her crib let alone the entire room. Being able to see the entire room as they wander is a big deal and it was my #1 necessity. Non-Wi-Fi. We have a lot of construction and the power frequently goes out here. I needed one that didn’t bank off of an established wifi signal. It would take 15min, sometimes more to turn back on even if power only went out for seconds. Remotely movable camera- my previous monitor could only be moved manually meaning if your baby moves to the other end of the crib and you can’t see them, you’d have to risk waking them and going into their room to move the camera and pray they didn’t roll again. This one can be moved up and down AND side to side all from the monitor hand held. Dope! Night time quality- you don’t lose camera quality when it’s night time. A lot of cameras pixelate and turn fuzzy when they’re in dark mode. Not this one! I think the picture is actually even better at night than day. Also it has a built in nightlight that you can chose color on. Two cameras and a split screen to view them simultaneously. This was HUGE for me. We are about to welcome baby #2 so when they’re ready for independent sleep I need to be able to see both children on a split screen. This one is perfect! You can still individually watch a single room, or, both. Sound only works on one room at a time. Other great things about the monitor: -Holds a good charge so you can carry monitor without being attached to a wall plug. - has two way audio, meaning I can talk to them through the camera without needing to physically walk in and wake them up more. -each camera has its own lullaby, there’s like 6options and you can turn them up or down or off all together at any time -monitor shows individual room temperature also so you know exactly how warm it is in each room -night lights All around this is the best camera and monitor system I’ve found. I bought these monitors 11 months ago and love them, however, our monitor suddenly stopped charging. I emailed customer service inquiring how to get a replacement and they immediately sent a new one, free of charge, no questions asked. They provided me with instructions on how to re-pair the new monitor with the cameras and updated me with shipping and tracking info for the new monitor. I spent several days researching monitors. Looking at pictures of night vision and comparing features and reviews. I settled on this monitor because it seemed to have the best night vision. I have only been using this monitor for a week. If anything changes I will update the review. That being said so far I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. The picture quality is wonderful. Day and night vision. I can see if my baby is breathing the picture is so good. My baby loves the changing color nightlight. The battery life is the longest I’ve found AND you can buy and easily replace the battery if you need to. The range is great...just don’t cover the antenna. The split screen is nice and easy to use. I very much enjoy that you can set your own temperature alerts for the temperature you choose. It’s the most sturdy well made monitor I’ve used. I love that this particular one comes with the wide angle lens so you don’t have to buy it separately. (Be sure it states that it comes with the wide angle lens...I don’t know if it was a special or not) Depending on where you’re using them the wide angle lens really makes a difference. Over the crib where you want close up it’s not helpful but if you need to see the whole room it’s great. And, it’s nice to have the choice on which lens you want to use. I love that it’s plug and play. It was very easy to setup. The two way talk feature works well. I like that the night vision lights have no glow to them. Some of them glow in the dark. The remote camera pan feature is super handy for a very active baby. No more getting up in the middle of the night to adjust the camera. And, the camera really moves pretty far in all directions. The manufacturer (MoonyBaby) is very responsive via email. All in all this monitor has all the bells and whistles of a Motorola or VTech at a better price. I was actually recommended the Motorola by a fellow mom... I looked into it but it was about $100 more to have two cameras like this one, the night vision didn’t seem to be as good and the reviews weren’t as good. I did purchase the extra warranty through Amazon just because it covers damage on the parent unit. Plus, for $22 it’s nice to know my almost $200 investment will last at least 3 years. The only reason I didn’t give it the fifth star is because Of the following: - The built in lullabies come across super loud on the parent monitor - There is no way to have the screen stay on (no way to turn the VOX off that I can tell) - I wish there was more than just the two zoom settings - I wish there was an actual number to call for support or questions not just an email - I wish there was an easier way to raise and lower the parent monitor volume (you have to go through the menu to adjust it) I would buy it again. ... show more
