  • Check hose connections for proper tighten.
Easy to install and helped out by raising my car to where it needed to be.

  • Use them on a XB scion. Worked great w/ an added mini compressor setup.
These things are awesome! We use them for a 2008 Scion XB. They fit perfectly in the rear end we added in a air hog single pump and switches. It is great for towing or when you have a lot of people in the back of your car just air up and move on with your life. You don't have to be scraping and runbbing in your lowered Poorly designed suspension scion anymore. This is a great solution. Thanks to those do-it-yourselfers online who showed me how to do this I was able to run a budget air set up in the rear of my car for pennies on the dollar. Be innovative it's a lot cheaper people. ... show more

  • They are pretty decent
Regular air shocks. Could have used more air line in the kit. Otherwise pretty good. Mabe a little more resistance in the actual bounce test afterwards.

  • Did the trick for my Crown Victoria with heavy CNG tanks.
These shocks fit perfectly and are just the answer for leveling my CNG Crown Victoria. I had to purchase a bit of extra fill line because of the way I routed them and the fact that this is a long car. The ride and appearance is much improved, but I had hoped for a little tighter damping control. Overall, these are a great value. ... show more

  • Failed within 1st 10 days of use but warranty expired.
I purchased in February, installed in March to prepare for an Aug. 15th trip. Drove only 100 miles before trip but within 1st ten days of trip one shock was leaking air and useless. As I was 2000 miles from home I waited until I returned to deal with it (I installed auxiliary helper springs to complete the trip.) Amazon told me I had to deal with Monroe re: warranty. Monroe told me the Max-Air shocks only have a 90 Day warranty-- which is NOT posted on Amazon. So for $58 I got less than 10 days of actual use. Once I learned that I researched and found Gabriel Hijackers sold by AutoZone have a lifetime warranty-- for roughly what I already paid for junk. And other online sources reference repeated or early failures of these shocks from Monroe. Monroe wouldn't even sell me just a single shock so I wouldn't need to buy another whole set. People buy shocks expecting years or even decades of use, not 90 calendar days, or just 10 of actual driving. If I have to replace the whole set, guess what I will buy to replace this set, and where. ... show more
