  • Nice shocks
They fit right on 55 chevy. It helped to raise back end up. Nice shocks

  • Perfect for a 1969 VW dune buggy front end
Several internet forums recommended this model of air shock. These are not designed for the front of a 1969 VW beetle but they bolt in perfectly with no modifications needed. I searched the Monroe web-site to get more technical info about overall length etc. I wanted more clearance for off road driving and these are the right set up. ... show more

  • easy to mount
mounting bolts were too big to go thru brackets on axle had to reuse old bolts. Needed to have more tubing in order to run tube to each shock. instead of a tee and single hose

  • Great shock for 2000 4Runner with sagging rear due to extra off road skid protection weight.
My second set of MA700s on a 2000 4Runner. While not listed for that vehicle, they fit, allowing a more shock extension (and articulation) which is important for off road use. The only fit problem is the internal diameter of the lower rubber bushing, which is a bit small for the 4Runner lower stud mount. It will fit if lubricating oil is first applied to the bushing. The first set was on the vehicle for 10 years and I had thought they had started leaking, Turns out it was my on air supply system to the shocks that was leaking. After 10 years I went ahead and put the new shocks on. ... show more

  • GOOD PRODUCT WRONG APPLICATION
the Monroe shocks were perfect, problem was they did not fit the vehical that you verified they would. I would have liked a replacement or the correct shocks but I DONOT THINK YOU KNOW WHAT WILL FIT.It is a plain old American car My confidence in internet shopping is shaken. The person in customer service that I spoke with was very polite and handled the return and refund quickly. ... show more

  • The price!
These shocks worked when different Auto shop said no. I replaced my electronic shocks from Cadi on my 2013 XTS. The $274 ea rear shocks failed after 4 months. I bought the Monroe Max Air and put them on and what do you know, THEY WORK, and only $84. Many places want this and that to make that buck. Well I researched, watch different videos. Bought the air adjustable shocks and you all nay say-ers know where to plant them lips. ... show more

  • Very good for the price.
Third car now over the last 17 years. Very good for towing, extra weight or just tweaking your ride. One thing tho, one of my shocks had s slightly bent fitting due to shipping. Ive seen another review where theirs was so bent it leaked air in the weld. They could improve packing a bit. Mine were fine and i expect many years of working service. Don't hesitate to buy.
