Apply the plant food dry, shaking evenly over your container, raised bed, or in-ground garden. For containers, mix the fertilizer into soil at the time of planting or lightly work into soil for established plants. For in-ground and raised bed feeding, work into the top 1 to 3 inches of soil or apply directly over mulch if present. Once applied, water the product in to start feeding.
