  • Miracle Grow liquid plant food is excellent.
Size: 48 oz.
The plant food is good. But packaging did not protect it. The product had leaked out of the bottle during transit.

  • Serve purpose of sprouting seeds very nicely
Size: 48 oz.
I sprouted seeds for Vidalia onions and fertilized three or four times at one week or a little less intervals and the growth on the by day is was excellent. They have since been transplanted into the vegetable garden and are doing reasonably well. I'll use this stuff or something like it again

  • Expensive for medium sized bottle
Size: 48 oz.
Seems to work as all plants & trees it was used on are doing vert well. However using once a month for trees & shrubs somewhat Expensive. Miracle grow suggests once a week, garden center says per month? On smaller plants that were planted worked great.

  • Works so well to prevent transplant shock
Size: 48 oz.
I have used this product for several years, but no one carried it this year that I could find. My plants have always done well when I use it for transplanting. Was happy to find this. Only gave 4 stars because there had been some leakage. Otherwise it was wrapped well.

  • Bottle leaks
Size: 48 oz.
I was looking forward to using this. The first bottle leaked; box was wet and bottle and box were crusty with dried fertilizer. Only reason the cables that were shipped in same box were not ruined was their plastic wrap. I thought it was a fluke, and requested a replacement, which arrived promptly, but same leakage problem. (OK, not as bad as first, but leaked over the box, and bottle.) Wish the bottle had an inner seal under the cap, but nothing. It is going back. ... show more

I use it every time I plant a new shrub, tree or flower. Works well.

  • Helps prevent transplant shock and produces huge plants
Size: 48 oz.
Let me start by saying I am a terrible gardener. I kill every green thing I touch, yet this year, I have a garden full of enormous plants -- thanks to this stuff. I started tomatos and broccoli from seed in early March (per the suggestion on the seed packets -- I live in the northeast USA) and some squash in early April, so I setup a few grow lights in my garage and transplanted the seedlings a few times indoors into larger and larger pots (I really have no idea what I'm doing), until the 2nd week of May when I started moving the small plants to their permanent home in my garden. With each move (about 5 transplants in all), I watered my little friends with the 1/2 capful to 1 gallon of water as directed on the bottle. Somehow, by some miracle gro Magic, I have too many plants! I keep thinning them and thinning them and sharing my extras with friends and family. This stuff even helped save a 3-yr lilac bush I had to move to make room for my garden. Even after the shock of a transplant 3 months ago, with a good 2 gallons/1 capful of this stuff, the lilac thrived and just completed a full and fragrant bloom cycle The photos are from two days after I transplanted my tomatoes and broccoli (from indoor pots and grow lights to the open garden) on May 10th and again on June 5th. The white specks are eggshells I crushed and spread around the garden to deter slugs-- not from the Miracle gro. ... show more
