It definitely improved the hardness of our toddler mattress. It’s thick and soft foam. It didn’t smell like I read in some previous reviews.     • Can this be real?
Update: only lasted the 1st night. I was so hopeful but it didn’t last . I read through so many of the reviews at the shock of how well this works for little ones to sleep. I was very skeptical as I have tried every sleep sack, multiple bassinets, co sleepers, sound machines, all of it! For the last 2.5 months my little one has been waking nearly every hour and many many times after she first falls asleep. I follow a good routine and am pretty consistent. The first night I used this mattress my little one slept FIVE STRAIGHT HOURS!!!!!! She has literally never done that since birth. I am really really keeping my fingers crossed that it works just as good tonight and every night. The only downfall is the initial smell of the mattress pad and that it doesn’t truly fit the crib. ... show more

Got this to soften my baby’s crib a bit in the hopes he would sleep through the night again like he used to before sleep regression. Although this is a lovely and cozy topper, my baby is currently curled up next to me in my bed as I write this instead of in his own lovely mattress topper.

My newborn slept through the night for a longgggg time then all of a sudden she wouldn’t sleep for more than 1-2 hours at a time. We put the crib next to our bed, soft music, white noise machine, gave chamomile tea safety, nothing was working…. Then I realized she moved so much as if she couldn’t get comfortable and the mattress wasn’t but it’s the safest thing for babies under 12 months. I did some research found this item and bought it immediately. It’s sooooo comfortable yet my baby can safety roll over, sit up and stand up. She immediately slept 6-8 hours that night. However again, not technically safe for babies but do your research mom and make your decision, sure glad I did!!! ... show more
