Love this product to keep the brassiness from my silver hair. Makes hair super soft. Be sure to not put in one spot as it will get a purple cast to hair. Put on hand and spread it on fingers before putting it on hair and comb it through.

My hair is naturally prematurely gray, and this product is a miracle in a can! I love this product! I use it after every shower, and it keeps my silver bright and shiny. I can’t say how it works on dyed silver or gray hair, but it’s really an enhancement on natural silver/gray hair. My hair looks healthy with a personality all its own, and I look like I just stepped out of a salon. It is a little expensive, but a little goes a long way, especially on short hair. It has a slight bluish/purple tinge and a fruity smell. It’s also great for detangling hair and gives my hair great body, thickness, and volume without making it stiff or heavy. It’s also great if you live in a high humidity environment like New Jersey in the summer. It keeps away the frizz. I love this product! When I first started to dye my hair blonde, my hairdresser would use this on me every visit and I loved it so much then too but couldn’t find where to buy it as they didn’t sell it in their salon. I went about a year of dying and processing my hair before I decided to buy this here on amazon, and I can definitely tell the difference in my hair coloring and how it stays toned. Before I started using milkshake religiously after every shower, my hair would get brassy relatively quickly. Now I use Milkshake after every shower and my hair has kept the icy/ashy blonde look that I love for MONTHS, I went in for another lightening treatment in January and my hair doesn’t look any different from when I stepped out of the salon that day. If you are considering buying this, go for it- you will not be disappointed. I’ve also seen a lot of comments about the bottle kind of exploding in a way and leaking foam all over the place, i’ve been through two bottles already and I have not had an issue. ... show more

This is my absolute favorite product to attend to the brassy yellow tones that come with highlighted hair after a while. It immediately refreshes your color and leaves your hair so soft and manageable. With this product I find I can keep my blonde hair looking as bright and shiny as the day I left the salon. I would only caution to not use it too frequently, as it's powerful and you could end up with grey or silver tones in your hair. Once or twice a week is perfect for me. It does wash out if you find you've overused the product. I've tried other products for brassy, yellow blonde hair, and absolutely nothing I've found comes close to performing as well as this one.
