I used to think squirells were so adorable. Then I moved to FL. My place is surrounded by trees, clusia, and grass and plants and flowers. I saw a lone squirell, so cute. Over time, he got bold and came up by the house. Thats when it was'nt cute anymore. He dug up the plants, broke into the patio screen and went to work on the more plants. I never, never write reviews but I needed to on this one!! We had a serious bat issue that I was afraid was going to cause health concerns. We had a professional come out to say it would cost 1,500 to remove them but wasn't going to be a guarantee because they may come back. My husband did some research and found this product. Within in 1 use of spraying inside and outside attic and our carport they were gone!! We have sprayed a few more times just in case. I was super skeptical about how effective peppermint could be on a bunch of bats but it was! We will always keep this in our home now!! ... show more

Did this work? I am not sure! I supplemented its use with about 18 snap traps in my apartment to catch one mouse... (Took 2 days, was successful) All I know is the house smells fantastic.. like a peppermint candy. Refreshing scent that fades after a little while. So while I am not sure about peppermint oil's effects on critters, I would still use it for 'household odors', bathroom, wiping out trash can in kitchen, 'aura cleansing' (spray baseboards, doormats; don't spray yourself) to promote alertness, shower floor to clear sinuses, combat drain odors, before visitors arrive, etc. So far so good. ... show more

Ive tried SEVERAL natural pest and rodent control products. Mighty Mint, by far, is the BEST. Mouse dropping gone overnight. Havent seen a ant, spider or any other creepy crawly in the days after I sprayed around my house. And it hasnt affected my doggies at all. I put about a 1/4 cup in a small bucket of water and mopped my floors with it. Had my entire house smelling minty fresh. Great product! Buy it! I will be buying more. Caution if you have a strong aversion to peppermint, this may not be the product for you. But once you spray it the smell dissapates rather quickly, and it still works! ... show more

I’ve been plagued with waterbugs in my apartment building. I sprayed this stuff all over the basement and common hallway areas. The waterbugs are gone !! Keep one thing in mind. You probably won’t smell this as soon as you spray it. I ended up spraying a lot of this stuff on my lobby and after about 5 mins the odor got veryyyy strong. I live in a cabin high up in the Green Mountains of Vermont and ever since I moved here I have been plagued by mice. The darn things get into everything and chew it up and leave their droppings, which can be hazardous. Someone told me about this stuff and I was skeptical to say the least, but figured I had nothing to lose. When it arrived I immediately sprayed all the high traffic areas and the results were instantaneous. I waited a month before writing a review, thinking that perhaps it would only work temporarily and the mice would eventually get used to it. Not so. Every other week I go around a spray the same places just to make sure the repellent isn't dissipating and so far I am mouse-free. I don't know why they don't like peppermint (it smells very nice to me) but they don't. Would highly recommend this product for anyone with a mouse infestation. ... show more

I purchased the product hoping to deter rabbits from an area in my yard. When sprayed according to the directions the scent is intense. However, after contact it wears off quickly. I've purchased several other products for the same purpose and the BEST deterrent thus far has been dollar store 100% ground cayenne powder. I will go back to using it ... show more

The product works as advertised - for a little while. The stench is quite strong; and at first it isn't so bad - nice and minty - but eventually I grew to dislike the smell. The product did its job for some time, but (as read in other reviews) its effect doesn't last as the mice just power through.
