Description

Pilot® Power 2CT tires add two-compound technology to the already renowned Pilot® Power range. While 2CT technology originated in MotoGP racing, Pilot® Power 2CT tires are intended for the most demanding sportbike riders, who use their bikes both on the road and for track days. Its tread surface is divided into three separate areas, incorporating two different rubber compounds. This helps provide numerous benefits in terms of dry grip, lean angle, handling and progressive acceleration and braking on wet surfaces.

  • Fantastic Tires for YZF 600r
The bike feels like a whole new bike, there’s a night and day difference compared to the previous tires. The bike flicks a whole lot easier and turn in is now effortless. Even new while still being “scuffed in” this tire inspires confidence and they have great grip in the corners. Definitely a great tire for fun street riding, will buy again. ... show more

  • Great tire as far as performance. Grips the road like none other. My only gripe is it's longevity.
Like performance, dislike longevity.

  • Amazing on a DR-Z400sm
These. Are. AWESOME. I levered them onto my DR-Z, and cannot believe the turn-in, the grip, and the overall badassery of this tire. I'm abusing them, and they're great. If you want an affordable tire for your SuMo, get them! They're a lot of fun. I ordered a 160, but really should have gone 150. 160 fits fine, but 150 is a bit lighter and will handle a touch better. Don't get me wrong though... the wider 160 looks fantastic, and isn't "pinched" on the rim at all. You can use the entire tire edge to edge with a 160. ... show more

  • It's a whole new bike!
So, I knew my old tires were awful, they had a bunch of miles on them and were desperate need of being replaced. Your experience might not be as "night and day" as mine was. Definitely an upgrade over the old model of tire I had. I had shopped around quite a bit, and arrived at the Pilot Power 2CT as a good compromise between street-friendly , performance, durability, etc. My bike doesn't see the track, and is usually used around town, or for commuting, but I like to ride through the twisties as well. Took my bike down to a local shop that would install the tires, got them tossed on and... what a difference. The bike sticks to the road, it corners better, it turns in quicker. It tracks better, it's more accurate through the turns, everything. They were even better than the previous tires ever were (Continental Road Attacks, for reference). The bike shop warned me multiple times that "new tires are slick"; so I took it pretty easy for the first ~20 miles, and started to get used to the tires. I haven't been super aggressive with them yet (most people seem to recommend ~100 miles but, regardless it's a hotly disputed topic) . I can confidently say that these were an excellent purchase, some of the other "issues" (stuff I would have guessed was suspension issues) with my bike vanished, and it behaves like it's supposed to. When I replace these I'll update with the mileage I got out of them. My bike is a 2005 Suzuki SV650 (with ~20k miles) ... show more

  • Grips the ground well but doesn't last at all
Installed on 15jan24 @ 28,713 miles on my 2000 zx6. Being on a 24yo 600cc bike that can't do burnouts and has been used for commuting i really expected to get more than 3803 miles from it before needing replacing. Bike has 32,516 miles at the time of the photo.

  • Grip, Comfort, Quality. BEST motorcycle tires!
I've had the Michelin 2CT tires on several motorcycles throughout the past 7 years of riding and I have to say that they are impeccable! I feel that these tires have made me a better rider, why you may ask? These babies grip the ground like glue. I feel more confident leaning in the twisties and accelerating out of turns. They are sharp and comfortable at the same time. If you are looking to upgrade your motorcycle tires, look no further. These tires will make your riding experience that much better! ... show more

  • Perfect tire for hard riding
I put these tires on my Kawasaki versys 650 In early 2019. I got about 5,000-6,000 miles out of the rear (Abusive riding) but the front still looks good for another 4-6,000 miles. I love them because of how sticky they are on corners.
