Features

  • Premium pure copper 14-Gauge speaker wire with 245 fine strands per conductor. Compared to copper-clad-aluminum wire, pure copper wire has 30% lower resistance, better flexibility, and greater durability.
  • Each cable is terminated using gold-plated 4mm banana plugs on both ends. The all-metal banana plugs are purpose-made for high current and low loss applications with a solid core and 9 contoured contact springs.
  • Ultra-slim connector design eliminates needless bulk for a clean and uncluttered installation. The connector holds firmly once fully inserted and has no exposed metal parts, reducing the chance of accidental shorts.
  • Hand-assembled using soldered joints and heat shrink tubing. This construction method results in the best possible audio signal transfer and is also exceptionally durable, ensuring many years of reliable performance.
  • Dual-layer jacket design with a firm inner jacket for wire stability and a supple outer jacket for excellent protection against abrasion while maintaining flexibility. Red polarity stripe together with color-coded connectors helps prevent connection mistakes.

  • Great Speaker Cables For The Money
Size: 12ft (4M)
I purchased these Micca speaker cables on the recommendation of Steve Huff, an on-line audio equipment reviewer (also check out his Youtube channel). Steve said these particular Micca cables were the "best he had heard for under $1,000.00" (not a typo). So for $45 bucks I thought I'd give them a try. Currently, I am using a pair of 2004 edition B&W 705 Bookshelf speakers, powered by a mid 1970s era Yamaha CA-1000 integrated amplifier (which has a "Class A" mode as well as Class A/B). Bass is augmented with a 10" Paradigm powered sub. It sounds pretty decent. I am an "audio enthusiast," but not an audiophile (if I can get 80-90% of the performance for half the price of something "better," I'm happy with that). These Micca cables are well constructed and attractive. One Amazon reviewer noted that his cables arrived with a sharp crimp in each due to the way they were wound up in the package. Mine had the crimp(s), too. However, I was easily able to get the crimp(s) out by using a hair dryer (set on High) and passing it over the crimped area (about 3"-4" in length in the middle of the cable) for a minute or so to make the cable relax and straighten out. Easy fix. No harm, no foul. I have always been skeptical that ultra-high priced speaker cables (which I consider to be $200 a pair, and over) are worth the money. Perhaps they do improve a $20,000 + system, but I don't have that (and don't intend to). The speaker cables I had been using were commonly available 14 gage Oxygen-Free Copper wire purchased on 100 ft. spools for around $40-50 bucks, so I wasn't convinced the Micca cables would make any discernable difference in the sound. Well, the difference is subtle, but it's audible. Vocals seem to be a tad more "open," the sound stage appears to be a bit wider as well as deeper, and the treble is slightly smoother. Was that worth $45 bucks? Well, my test has always been, "would I buy this product again" (essentially, is it worth the money)? Regarding these Micca speaker cables; my answer is Yes. ... show more

  • Excellent cable, hard to find any better value.
Size: 12ft (4M)
Excellent cable for the money. Performs on par with much higher priced HiFi speaker cables. In fact, this cable helped me to achieve much smoother highs and mids compared to pricier audioquest type 8 cable I have. O. Thr down side, bass lacks weight compared to the audio quest cable. Results in more open Soundstage. At the list price, this is an excellent value. It is well made and flexible. Banana connectors are decent , and attached very well to the cable. ... show more

  • A good step up from aluminum
Size: 6ft (2M)
Short and sweet, I used cheap copper coated aluminum wires I had made for decades. I always believed that bigger was better, so I used 10 and 8 gauge. Well I finally broke down and bought a pair of these seeing as they're "solid copper" wire and wow, what a difference. These woke up detail in had not previously heard. So yes, these are a definite step up from El Cheapo aluminum wire. I should have bought better speaker wires long ago. But I have since bought better cables than these Miccas, and it didn't take much to better them. I actually bought a pair of Emotiva XXS speaker cables that are solid OFC, high strand count, 12 guage, instead of smaller 14 like the Miccas. The Emotivas were about double the price but the quality and construction of them makes the Miccas look like simple garbage. But for the money, I will say these Miccas are a good buy. They will dramatically improve your systems sound if you're using cheap copper coated aluminum cables you made yourself. I have learned that speaker cables might be one of the most important cables in your system. Get good ones. ... show more

  • Great Cable with a Minor Annoyance
Size: 6ft (2M)
These are great cables--and I've bought many of them. I do have one gripe (which hasn't deterred me from buying more) and that is when they package these cables for shipping they fold them in half and then coil them; the result is a massive kink in the center of the cable that never relaxes out. These are very flexible cables and are otherwise completely kink free (which is great), but they fold the center over so hard there's always a permanent bump in the middle, its annoying but doesn't impact the function of the cable. I'd giving them 5 stars if they could figure out how to ship these without leaving the kink. ... show more

  • Removes the mud filter you never knew you had !
Size: 12ft (4M)
Just bought second set. Yes cables will improve your sound even if you don’t know why. They are one of the best Improvements you can make. The cost is very minimal for the result. Micca cables are an absolute bargain. You will know they work immediately.

  • Surprisingly Hi Fi!
Size: 6ft (2M)
These cables are the real thing. The music does open up and details do emerge. Like any $300-$1000 cables, except they were $30 bucks. I am impress. Denon amp and paradigm speakers.

  • These Are The Real Deal
Size: 6ft (2M)
I first heard about these from watching Steve Huff on YouTube. He compared them to $2,000 and $3,000 speaker cables and found them as good or very close to those cables. So I figured why not try them for $29 (6 foot length). I had a nice pair of Cobalt cables in my high end system which these replaced. Mind you, I was happy with the Cobalt cables but they were not $2,000/$3,000 cables by a long shot. So I thought I might as well try them and see if there is a difference. When I put the Micca cables in I instantly noticed a slightly warmer sound with a bit more detail. These are keepers for sure. In fact, I ordered a few more pairs to use in all my other systems as well. You can’t go wrong with these for the price and you can return them for free if you don’t like them. What’s not to like about that. ... show more

  • Lovely cable, well justifies it's price.
Size: 12ft (4M)
A bit pricy but the quality justifies its price. The cable is thin, long and very flexible. They feel sturdy and well made.
