    • Very durable and works as intended
I am currently studying piano and bought this clip to use for some music books for beginner songs. This holds even bigger books very well. It's very sturdy and have had no issues with it. It is a little long however and sometimes the clips go over the piano notes so I have to move the clip up a little bit. That is okay but it's not as sturdy when I do that because the clip needs to be down further to really hold the book in place. Also, if you need to turn the page you obviously cannot do that with this clip as it keeps the page in place so I would recommend you move the right side of the clip the last page of the song you want to play so you can manually turn the pages when needed. ... show more

I like it but it wasn’t so useful to me. It’s a big size if you’re trying to use for a ordinary book. I haven’t been able to use it because it’s been so big on all of my music books. It’s a nice presentation though and I like the delicateness of it

I love this book clip because it's so beautiful. All of them do the job, I would guess, but this one is solid, beautifully shaped, and well made. I've been using paper clips, stacking music books on the edges to keep music books open....none of those work well. However, this is an elegant solution that works and makes me happy! I got this clip as a late Christmas gift for a pianist friend of mine. I was looking for something small but meaningful and I think this beautiful clip is perfect for that. I haven't gifted it yet, but from my first impressions, it looks great. It doesn't bend easily, it has a good weight to it, although it's lighter than I expected, and the chromed finish with the cleff stamp at the top makes this look beautiful. It comes in a thin faux velvet bag that's nice to keep it from getting scratched but not much else besides that. After getting this in the mail, I ordered another one for a gift to another pianist. I think this is a great simple gift to show your appreciation to a musician in your life. ... show more
