This motion detector switch is well designed and works perfectly for me. My elderly family member would leave the lights on in the bathroom, and this perfectly solved the problem.     • Easy to install and works great
I had trouble finding a 277V sensor switch and one of my crew found this one. After identifying the wiring, we installed this little guy and worked good. We had to calibrate the sensor because it was reading from way to faraway. I got this for residents pantry in a high-end high rise. People were leaving the lights on all the time. I decided to purchase this motion light switch for two reasons. 1) the product was well within my price range and 2) it had good reviews. Like I said, the price was fair and reasonable. Compared to big box stores, this was priced great. The reviews I read all claimed the product to be a great buy. It was made solid. It came as a bundle, so I was able to get the hardware and cover plate all for one price. The plastic faceplate was durable. It came with extra screws, which is nice. ( Those darn screws are small)! Overall I am pleased. It works as described. It has various time out limits, (5,15 and 30) minute limits. I would recommend this product to people who are looking for a sleek upgrade to their light switch with the added feature to automatically turn on and off the lights. ... show more

    • Stopped working after a week.
Switch worked great for about a week then they stopped turning off at all even if you pushed the button. Tried adjusting them several different ways same result. Trying to figure out if there is any kind of warranty now.

    • Manual override paddle is not very good
This product works fine as an occupancy sensor light switch. You have to remove the paddle with a small flat screw driver or similar to adjust sensitivity and length, but it's straightforward and you don't have to consult the instruction sheet for how many times you have to tap for adjustment. The only caveat is the manual override paddle's physical construction. It's not very finger friendly. ... show more

    • Great for my stairway lighting.
I installed this on my stairway since my kids forget to turn off. This can be wired as 3way switch, but only one of these can be used and the other has to be a standard 3way switch. I wired 2 of the in parallel. You will need 3way switch circuitry at location prior or add new circuit. I chose vacancy mode so they shut off after a few minutes automatically if no movement is sensed. ... show more
