My niece loves them. That's what matters. They are synthetic. Cheap. But she's 10 so it's her first brushes so, if she's happy, I'm happy. They are equivalent to, maybe wet and wild, brushes. Maybe even one step down from them.

I grabbed these because they were cheap and she loves mermaids and rainbows. Wow, the quality is amazing for the price!! She is only using them to pretend but I almost ordered a set for myself. So far I have not had any issues with these brushes, I use them pretty often and they are still holding up. Now I have not had them for a long time so I don't know how long they are going to last, but I am hoping quite some time because they are super cute.
