I actually like these more than my viouri shorts. Good length thick fabric but not too hot. And they are forgiving for bigger guys with dad bods. You can wear them to the store without looking sloppy.

This shorts remind me of the quality that existed in yesteryear. Very thick, mostly cotton feel. At 5’8”, 33” waist, 180#s, the Medium was perfect. Just above the knee and not baggy. I’m not a fan of zippers on my shorts but I knew that when I purchased. The zipper is needed if you put a cell phone in the pocket….because the pocket length is short and my IPhone slipped out a couple of times. I’m 5’8 210 lbs. Size large comes to just above my knee. My legs aren’t huge but they’re a little stocky. My wife is 5’9 155 and they fit her well also as lounge shorts. The pockets aren’t tiny but they are smaller than average shorts pockets. They zip though. I don’t zip them and my iPhone 14 plus, cardholder, and keys(3 keys and key fob) fit fine and don’t fall out, but no more than that. They’re some of the best fitting most comfortable shorts I’ve ever had, quality material, and they’re very affordable. Great value. ... show more

I love these shorts. Nice material. Cut is flattering, as well as is the inseam length. It’s cool that they can be a little dressed up or down, with a tank top in the gym or a button-up and some loafers for a summer night out. Though, my only gripe is that the pockets could be a bit deeper. Make sure you zip them up, if you have anything you care about, because it seems like stuff is always falling out of them when I sit down, moving while exercising, etc. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pick up my phone. I’m forgetful, so I’ll… forget to zip ‘em up. Wallet too. Lost a pair of dental aligners while on vacation in Asia after a few drinks. Thankful for the zippers tho, I guess.
