This product arrived in two packages with instructions that were easy to follow, if you pay attention (I had to redo a couple of things). It is not a fast installation, but it is not difficult and is a two-man job. The hardest part is managing the fencing. We chose not to cut it as the instructions recommended just in case we cut it too short or too long and needed that extra few inches. The plastic-covered chicken wire is pretty easy to work with, but is just a nice barrier. We expected this and will be surrounding the outer edges with hardware cloth. As recommended by other reviewers, I will be purchasing metal zip ties to reinforce everything and attach the hardware cloth. The structure is sturdy and I plan to purchase another one so I can butt them together and have a door on each end. One drawback for us is that the door is not tall enough to cover the door to our coop. Our coop has a standard front door we purchased at the Restore. We will need to make a "hallway" for the chickens to have easy all-day access. ... show more

Easy to assemble, straight forward. Very polite instructions. Please do this. Please do that. Installed by myself. I did get metal cable ties to install the wire to make it extra sturdy. I also curled the wire around posts where ever possible and crimped the ends around itself so there are no open seams where the wire "ends" and no sharp bits pointed out. A gentle tap with a rubber mallet helped but some of the harder to push together pipes in place. I liked the tight firm fit of the pipes! If a hole was a little off, a simple screw driver through them and a gentle bend had them aligned perfectly. No issues at all. It's my garden protection. I have a rodent problem in my garden. I bought this and installed it on top of hardware wire 12" deep and 2 ft up the sides. leveled and Cemented the feet in 8" cinder blocks . Installed 7 galvanized raised beds. So far. So good. Seeds/seedlings are IN and well protected from the rabbis, rats, squeaks, mice, voles, grey diggers, CHICKENS and assortment of strawberry stealing wild birds. lol ... show more

These coop kits are a GREAT VALUE and excellent platform for a sustainable space to raise animals. We have layer chickens and with the addition of 5 nesting boxes, roosting bars, multiple feeders, and waterers it’s housing 35 hens and one Rooster. With 120 inches of annual rainfall we added a custom HD tarp made ($145) that covers the whole roof and overlaps a few inches. Tarp blocks Sun and is reinforced on all edges with grommets every 12” so we only had to affix chicken wire to ends and side walls which allowed 4” or so to bury at ground level. We also bought 11” Black UV resistant plastic wire ties to attach chicken wire to framework as opposed to the white ones it comes with! I recommend doing this, you will thank me later bc the white ones simply do not hold up (wrong application). Endless opportunities or just use it like it shows. The media could not be loaded. Many of the parts are defective so unfortunately I was unable to use it at all. I would not trust the quality and stibility of this item against any predator. They refused to send me a replacement part, so I will have to dispute the item with my bank. Unfortunately, although the box arrived in good condition, many of the pieces were bent and faulty. I was able to fix most of them but a section such as this due to the significant malformation. I would not advise ordering from this company. Also I would not be suprised if the materials are toxic, flakes of I don't know what were going everwhere and staining everything. Looks elsewhere and keep your pets or livestock safe! ... show more

I actually got two of these. Assembled as (1) 10'x7' and (1) 10'x35'. The 10'x7' makes for a great moveable cage. The ends of the cut chicken wire are always a problem. I suggest installing the TOPs first, then the end triangles (hang 10' piece to the end PEAK, secure the bottom corners and fold the excess over the top) and finally the sides. This puts most of the cut ends where you are less likely to come in contact. The door is easy because the screen is exactly twice the door width. Go from the hinge to the latch and back on the other side. This puts all of the cut ends on the top and bottom of the door. I cut PVC pipe to the width of the door and then split it on one side length ways. This slid over the top and bottom of the door to cover all the cut ends. Finally.. I cut 1"x2" strips to go along the outside of the door opening. One on the outside and one on the inside bolted together through the wire.. Then removed the excess wire closest to the door. All if the cut ends end up between the wood strips (both sides of the door). Now there is nothing left to cut me or the chicks.. Hope it helps ... show more

Quick setup ,although not sure how durable this will actually be my 7year old can move it and the latch is way light and easy movable.I thought it was chicken wire but once it came is more plastic feel….I also expected the height to be taller u can only stand in very center at tallest part
